Comment: I waited a long time to post this rating, this swap was from back in July. I didn't want to leave a bad rating and contacted this person many times. Every time I heard back with a promise of getting a package soon, but nothing ever came.
Comment: What a great vintage PC! Funny thing: I had no idea that Philly was the city of Brotherly Love! Thatβs a thing??? I asked my bf if he knew what city that was, and he got it right off the bat! Huh! The things you learn πππ
Comment: Hi Jackie! LOVE the Monet PC. The Water Lilies series and Van Gogh's Starry Night and Sunflowers are some of favorite pieces of art. Thank you!!
Comment: Thank you for the Florida PC! I love your front row lottery purchase! How Iβd enjoy some front row seats to see a few people too! Happy Swapping
Comment: Hi Jackie,
Thanks for the lovely card and the welcome. I have actually seen Boathouse Row from the Schuylkill River Trail, though not at night. I wonder if this was a Christmas season photo or if they are lit like this all the time.
Our older daughter worked for a couple years at CHOP and lived in Manayunk. We visited her, and your great city, several times. And have found reason to return a couple times since she moved away.
I am sorry if it seems to have taken a long time to rate your card. We had some severe weather here, for two days last week, and had not received mail since last Wednesday. Roads were blocked by downed trees and power lines and one end of our road was washed out from flooding.
Being in a very rural area, we are somewhat used to this. Though it is usually winter storms that do this kind of damage.
We have both commercial power and internet back now and the Mail Lady came this morning. She brought us a big pile that included, between Swap-Bot and Postcrossing, eight cards that I am trying to log / rate as quickly as I can.
Best Wishes,
Neal
Comment: Thanks so much! I love all the tapes - my favorite is the peacock feather one! I think itβs super cute that you repurposed a game instructions card to wrap them on! I may have to borrow that idea :)
Comment: Hi Jackie, it's nice to meet a fellow educator. Let me know how high school goes. I'm hoping to be an administrator after I finish my grad work. Keeping my fingers crossed. Have a great rest of the summer.

Comment: Hi Jackie! Thanks for the PC! It seems we were both named after famous Jackie's. Mine was Jacquelyn Bissett. Have a lovely weekend! I love the stamps you used too!
Comment: We do swap a lot and when I get back to that area to visit family (or if you get to Dallas!) we may need to get together since I feel like I know you so well now!! Great PC, love it! Thank you!
Comment: Sounds like fun! We have the Red, White and Blue Days here. They always have a big name country singer in the park for a free concert. This year was Lonestar! I only live two blocks from the park and could hear it INSIDE my house with the tv and central air going. Lol
Comment: And, yes, it IS all about the food! I've been in your area many times since I have family up there but I have never had Scrapple, I think they may have not been brave enough to serve it to me! I'll have to ask next time I'm there! Thank you!
Comment: Very good! Thanks for the PC. I love the New Zealand map. I had cards for the "Z" & "Y" letters but I didn't have "X". I sent "Y" to my partner.
Comment: Thanks for the note! Sounds like you guys have a great area for the 4th. There is a parade in our small town and fireworks at the fairgrounds. Hubby has to work this year, so I will be staying home while my son heads out with the grandparents. Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you so for the lovely Monet PC... I really love it and all his works... have a great day and thanks for swapping and looking at my profile to make the swap extra special!!! Appreciate it.
Comment: Hi Jackie, thanks for the card. It always amuses me that countries like Germany get really short, romantic-sounding addresses, whereas my clunky one needs 3/4 of the PC to write it. AIYOOO!! Thanks again
Comment: Thank you so much for the B&W Women Who Dared PC, I love it! It looks like many of us have a week of REALLY hot weather coming up, stay cool and enjoy your weekend!
Comment: Thank you so much for the reading postcard! I like to read, too! Thank you. I'm sorry, I would like to give you a heart, but I asked for a PC in an envelope. I do like the postcard you sent, though.

Comment: Thank you! I'd say you nailed summer. I love the sparkly pink flower note card & surprises. We had some up & down weather this spring, too. Now we just seem to be up. Supposed to be 100 today. Yuck. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for the Cardboard PC! I love the Hot Wheels! I thought it was cereal. Very out of touch with little boy foods now that my "little boy" is 22! I, too, loved this swap. I have a pile (literally) of cardboard on my dining room floor. I use it for PC backings as well. I really loved the PC idea! Never been to Philly, even though I'm from Boston originally. Definitely HAVE to get there someday!! Thank you so much! Swap On!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome PC. Iβve never been to Philadelphia but I want to visit it someday. I hadnβt heard of the first hospital in America being there. Very cool!
Comment: Thank you for the extras! I am putting Walter Mosley on my "To Read" list! Never heard of him before. I like Janet Evanovich because she is a quick read and I love the characters.
Comment: Thanks for the sweet note. You have beautiful handwriting. I was just telling my husband the other day that we should visit Philadelphia this summer. :)
Happy Summer
Kathy
Comment: Thank you for the cool postcard. I so agree with you about credit cards. I always seem to forget that while there are 4 of them in the end there is only one bank account :D
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the postcard! I apologize for the delay. I had a family emergency and am temporarily living at my dad's house. My sister was nice enough to go by and check my mail for me. Anyway, I hope all is well! Happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty pink flower card. I've finally got flowers in bloom. I truly believe Spring is here to stay. I was about wondering if it was ever going to get here. Thanks for the extras too. I will put them into use for sure. Thanks again.
Comment: That was a great represtative of Judy Moody. We haven't read any of those books yet. We are currently working our way through Charles Dahl books at home and Magic Tree House in the car.
Comment: Your cute, sparkley notecard and note arrived this morning. Thank you so much, Leftie! Ugh, busy days get busier and harder when we get a late start. LOL! I know how that is. But I'm glad it all worked out for you and you had a good day anyway. :) Thank you also for the Mr. Rodgers (!!!!) stamps and the post-its. I love it all!
Comment: Hi, Jacqueline! I enjoyed reading your study on Grace. :) I think your paper was just fine! I liked the card you sent as well. Welcome to Swap-Bot! I am happy to be a part of your first experience.
Response: Thank you, I was very nervous....and thanks for putting me at ease!π
