First Line of a book PC #5

For this swap, you will write the first complete sentence from the book you are currently reading on the back of a postcard and send it naked to your partner. Be sure to include the title of the book and the author, as well. Also, remember to include your username and the swap name. Postcards are sender's choice.

Books from which you use the first line may be fiction or nonfiction, but they must be a traditional book. So no craft books or cookbooks please.

If the book is not in English - please translate the sentence you wrote down.

My normal rules (as with all my other swaps) apply:
• Only sign up if you are going to participate. NO FLAKERS! I am going to be strict about this. If you flake, you will not be able to join any of my other swaps.
• I will angel if necessary, but please don't make it necessary! Once you rate your partner a 1, I'll angel the swap. Please send me a message if this happens.
