Favorite Music

Grew up with the 80s music. Love various genres but favourites are mostly pop music, some oldies, and jazz.

Favorite Books

I read a variety of books esp love a good mystery/thriller, crafting and some romance. My favourite authors are Patricia Cromwell, Elizabeth George and Mary Higgins Clark.

Favorite Crafts

Enjoy scrapbooking as I get a chance to play with paper and a different medium which is different from my work.

I love to sew, crochet, and knit when I get the chance. I enjoy seeing the finished stuff being used or worn.

I'm still learning to do a bit of embroidery.

I use watercolour a lot in paintings. I enjoy art journaling as my escape.

Snail Mail

LOVE snail mail. Growing up, I used to have a lot of penpals and kind of missed that so trying to start again.

I'm easy to please and wouldn't mind receiving any postcard with stamps and even with a short written message. Please no free/advertisement postcards.

I LOVE swapping...

ATCs, inkbox cards, Rolodex cards/Memorydex, Zines, handmade tags, postcards, tea, and other handmade art.

NOTE: I spend a lot of time thinking about what I send to my partners and also invest in time making them. My only request is that I also hope to receive something worth saving.

Please NO chocolates or candies because sometimes mail takes a while. I wouldn't mind tea as it gives me a chance to try tea from other places.

Comment: To start, I received such a beautiful envelope with such a story to tell in the mail. Wow! this is such a unique way to use red, white & blue! I love the background (security envelope in parts?) the lines and the gorgeous flower, beautifully enhanced by the red. I love the white touches too. Spectacular. Always a pleasure to swap with you. Comment: How wonderful to get two swaps from you! Double the wonderful stamps on envelope and the pieces of mixed media! My goodness I have never seen a postage stamp so big! Love the creativity in the collage strips, too! Use of the "waste" from punch-outs and the lady on swing is ingenious! Thanks again for more painty papers and other ephemera-makes my day!

Response: Oh, sorry to hear that. Next time I know not to get "creative"... I've also received ATCs that have elements sticking out and also make some, so I just assumed it was okay to have a little element to break the rectangle. Thank you for the rating.
