I'm a life-long New Englander. Love, love, love Florida and CA, but never want to live anywhere but here. I have so many interests I don't know where to start! I LOVE mosaics, and all my ATCs will be made with glass, beads and polymer clay. I've admired the ATCs I've seen and decided I'd like to begin trading some of my own.

I'm a retired RN, so I have lots of time to create! That is, unless we're out on the bikes, which we LOVE, riding along the beach.

I love to read and write and belong to a few writing groups and attend conferences when I can.

I'm looking forward to trading with you all.

Anything by Elizabeth Berg, Jane Hamilton or Anita Shreve, mysteries, self-help, cozys and all fiction for women. Barbara Kingsolver is also a favorite and I am currently re-reading "The Red Tent," by Anita Diamant. "Valley of the Dolls" was a favorite, as was "The Best of Everything" by, Rona Jaffe. I read "The Thorn Birds" twice.

Melanie (Yes, I was a hippie), anything Aztec and bellydance music. (Yes, I've taken bellydance lessons. Haven't we all)? Enya, Chris Issak, Etta James.

On April 8, 2016, I get to see MELANIE!!!! Woo Hoo! My daughter says, "Once a hippie, always a hippie, mama!"

UPDATE: Melanie was awesome!!! I got to speak with her after the concert when she signed my new CD, which is fabulous. That was four days ago and I'm still thinking about it!

48 Hours, Dateline, anything crime related, since someone always gets killed in one of my stories. Nurse Jackie, Downton Abby and I'm a news junkie.

Mosaics. In December of 2009, my daughter and I decided to go to San Francisco where I discovered mosaics. I'm totally hooked and turned one of our upstairs bedrooms into a studio where I can cut glass to my heart's content. I went from a small bag of ceramic tiles to shelves of every kind of glass, bead or tile you can think of. I love it.

Bless my husband for closing his eyes when he comes in.

I also enjoy quilting, knitting and crocheting and scrapbooking.

I love sparkles and neon.

I love movies and watch as many as I can. My favorites are: The Miracle, with Roger Moore and Carol Baker, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Fried Green Tomatoes and all Christmas movies.

I'm a musician wanna-be and fumble my way through piano lessons, violin lessons and doumbek. I'm having a great time.
