I discovered the ALTERED ROLO Cards (Aug 2011) ...Check out the groups...

EBAY has some great V series holders (I have 1 and I think its the best way to display the awesome way these collections go above & beyond the borders! Just search VINTAGE ROLODEX V----- & fill in the blank with the number series for the size you want! I want 1 for each size! Some have plastic COZY COVERS u can decorate OR MAKE 1 yourself and decorate!!! ;-)

V546 holds the 4X6" rolo cards!

V535 holds the 3X5" (A-Z Group)

V524 = small size 2 1/2X4" (ART GROUPS) ....HOPE THIS ROLO HOLDER INFO HELPS! Happy ROLOing! ;-)
...i have a friend that made a holder in a flat cigar box, opened and chop sticks cut off & glued in where the notches are on the cards. The top is propped up (From behind) in the back with paint stirring sticks ...cut off... to hold the cards up...altered box, really cute ;-)

ROLOS ARE AN AWESOME, COMPACT WAY TO COLLECT & DISPLAY ART!
Altered Rolo Cards are made out of heavier Cardstock than the original cards that were used in a rolodex for a handy phone book or business card holder. Just use those cards as patterns to cut out your own base from cardboard like cereal boxes....(Lil Debbie boxes are my favorite because they are white on one side to paint on ;-) & the treats are good!....Hard to beat a good NuttyBuddy! ;-) Then paint or cover your ROLO CARD & embellish! The great thing about rolos is you can extend ur design or embellishments up to an inch above the top! And about 1/4 " on the sides. They are so much fun & they give u freedom to create! ;-)

SO, THINK OUT OF THE ATC BOX! Create Rolos ;-)

NOTE TO MY SWAP PARTNERS: I prefer my cards with the notches on the bottom for the FRONT OF THE CARD...And the BACK OF THE CARD with the notches on the top. I have ROTARY (Ferris Wheel Type holders) and so when the card falls down to hang at the bottom the artwork isn't upside down! This also works good for flat holders because when you look over the back of the card it doesn't look upside down to you and you don't have to move the holder & turn the box around. Hope this makes sense....it can be confusing! ;-)
