Response: Glad to hear you enjoyed it - Thank you for the heart! The stuff on top is simply Mod Podge - nothing too special. It makes me feel safer sending stuff that's been smushed down and glued to within an inch of its life like that :)

Thank you for the heart! And yes - I made all of those things. I <3 linoleum block printing. If you scroll down on this page, you'll see more of my prints, although I've made several more in the last few weeks that I haven't put up yet:

Response: Thanks! I really enjoy these printmaking challenges on here - forces me to actually finish something in a relatively fast manner :) i keep checking to see if there are more lino/printmaking swaps out there, too, but they've been pretty sparse....

Response: Aaaaaawwwwww, shucks (^_^) you guys are making me blush!!! I achieved so much detail by.... having no idea what i was doing? I really have not done enough of these to tell you why/how it is that i got the results that i did! (and it's funny that you ask this since i kept looking at my resulting prints and wondering how i could make them look more soft/fuzzy without ending up with a blob --- because blobs are what i was ending up with when i tried using more water :)
Response: YAY!!!! :) Looking forward to it! (and also kind of thinking: oh nuts, i need to speed up the NEXT new card i have in progress over here! heh.) Camp Dainava is the Lithuanian camp, right? I never went there, but a couple years after I graduated from the Latvian summer high school Garezers, I believe there was a summer camp field trip bus full of Lithuanian kids who came to visit the Latvian camp for a day!

Response: Awwww - thanks for the compliment and I'm glad that you like them! ***** BUT DON"T STOP MAKING ART!! ***** Seriously - how will you get any better if you don't practice? (and if I compared myself and my art to other art all the time, I'd stop making stuff, too, you know)

Response: Doh - your comment cut off at the most interesting part :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. Later I received one of these where the file folder was the ENVELOPE and i rather wish I'd done that (and then the thing would've been encased in clear tape & I'd feel better about the longevity of the thing). Cheers!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it all :) :) :)

Response: You're welcome! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I've never tried a Thriftstore find like this before - it felt both FUN and pretty darn hit-or-miss :) I forget, did I put bugs or paint splatters on your envelope? If it was bugs, it's a 3M Scotch brand packing tape, if it's paint splatters then it's an off-brand not-quite-dollar-bin item --- and both came from the chain store: Meijer.
Response: You're welcome!
Response: Glad you liked it! (and OMG - I ended up with two full grown chihuahua mixes.... we're having a pretty good time, though I"d never ever imagined fostering anything resembling an ankle-biter :)
Response: oh the winter weight... sigh.... i just saw a picture of myself from 10 days ago and.... let's just say that the plan to go outside for a walk every day has now been stepped up a notch... i don't think I could completely give up cheese & butter to become a vegan......
Response: oh man - your comment here makes me giggle every time i open up my profile :) let me know if you'd like to be the recipient of a completely nude lady just to see if it would make it through the mail system (or would they censor that kind of thing? would they even notice?)
