Because I have not corresponded with someone outside the US before, one of the most interesting things about your letter was the stationery. It appears that the birds are singing in a different language! I have no idea what the symbols mean--I read only English. Perhaps you would enlighten me? I also really liked the stamps on the envelope of the vanishing trade of cobbler. It's interesting, but I have been thinking about cobblers for a couple of weeks now, wishing we had one in the area to repair one set of shoes I have.
