Response: Thank you. The book is a novel --planned as the first in a series. the main characters are artists -- think modern day, artsy Snoop Sisters or artsy, American Rosemary and Thyme.
Response: The paper that I used for the envelope is gelli printed rice paper with a coating of polymer gloss.

Response: The class was awesome -- one of Traci Bautista's. The fuzzy looking flowers were done with a sort of beat up, coarse-bristled brush using paint on just the tips. Never throw anything away! ;-)

Response: Glad you like them. The outline was easy. I struggled with the face and getting the look of the body just right. So I cut it out and used as mask -- there's always a solution. ;-)
Response: Glad you like it. I wonder all the time how other artists make their pieces. I had rec'd my master board before I sent out yours and included with the note was the description of how it was done. I thought it was a great idea. :-)

Response: Glad you like it! The "mini" version was fun. It's sometimes difficult to fill out a nine pocket version in a manner that feels cohesive.

Response: Thank you! Glad you like it. :-) I don't do a lot of stamping. But when I use a stamped image on an ATC I always try to make it special with either an artful background, embossing, coloring, or as in this case fussy cutting with other handmade collage elements.
Response: Thank you for the suggestion. I sometimes shade, but my results seem inconsistent. I've picked up some blending stumps and am practicing using them. Hopefully, my shading results in more consistent effects.

Response: Thank you. I used fine point Sharpies. The problem with using them of course is that you always have to use a piece of cardstock behind the page you are coloring.
Response: Glad you liked the picture. The blue Subaru down below near the stream is mine. I hiked up above the parking area a bit to get a good shot of the valley. I didn't even notice my car was in the shot until I printed it! lol
