However the swap requirement was 50gr at the minimum and I only received 20gr.

When I lived in Korea, I was in accounting, boring! However, I knew of a few people who taught English to Korean students. One lady was working remotely and teaching English to Chinese students. Comment: A PADDINGTON MARMALADE SAMMICH POSTCARD!!! Thank-you so much, really made my day (I had surgery earlier this week and so feeling kind of sorry for myself). My Nanny was from the UK and loved marmalade and we both love Paddington (I still have my childhood stuffed bear called Paddington), and that commercial with him & our late Queen was so heartwarming to us. I liked being a medic more than a nurse to be honest, got to be right at the front versus waiting behind lines for patients. These days I mostly nurse plants though lol, hopefully one day I can retire into my garden and raise vegetables and bees. Such an interesting hobby and fun to explore with regard to nutrition and what we can produce for ourselves. Wishing you good health and a lovely year ahead:)

Christmas is celebrated in Korea but not at all in the same way that we do in the West (although you'd never know from the pictures, everything is lit up just right). I actually make my own mincemeat filling as it's something we eat in Canada too but certainly can't get here. In Canada we eat full-sized pies though in slices! Comment: The paddington stamp is way too cute ! My forever favorite coffee is the Caramel Macchiato with oat milk, but I also love regular espresso coffee. I usually don't eat something with my coffees (french people right) but if I have to, I'll always go for a carrot cake or a cheesecake ! I used to make a huge meal for everybody. But after her passing we just do not have such a large feast. But we try to eat a nice meal and do gift exchange. Hope you enjoy your festivities.

Comment: Thank you for the cards, I like to use coloured pens too. To answer your questions - I am in year 5 and 6 at school and the children use pencils but get the chance to get their pen licence. Paper napkins, I use a lot for decoupage. It's one of the ways I like to decorate handmade notebooks.

Once, in front of a new family who just had placed their family member in our nursing home and were visiting him for the very first time, another patient came running to me and screamed "my p*ssy is burning me ! Comment: Kia Ora from NZ! Thank you for the pretty resend pc from Porthmadog. Many people from the UK live here, so Guy Fawkes night is celebrated here. I never heard of it before moving down to NZ. There is the Maori new year, which is called Matariki. It is also celebrated with fireworks and shows. It follows the lunar calendar, next year it will be on 28th of June.

Comment: Awwww thank you so much, the cauliflower/brain postcard is amazing and the stickers too ! And of course I LOVE the boo/moo card โค๏ธ (even the stamps are great !) We pretty much have the same tradition with fireworks everywhere but itโ€™s around the 14 July to celebrate the storming of the Bastille in 1789, you know, the French Revolution ahah. To me, the best recipe ever for eggplants and zucchini is the simplest ever, cut them into slices, drizzle with olive oil, put them on the BBQ and when itโ€™s cooked you just adds salt and Provence herbs and Ta-Daaaa ! I love to wander in the forest with Lucky and I often see mushrooms, I donโ€™t pick them up anymore tho, only take pictures, I never know how to recognize the good ones โ˜น๏ธ We all are short staffed in nursing homes, fortunately I work with a great team, everyone is full of goodwill and always do their best no matter how exhausted we all are lol. The pictures in the document did come through quite small although I downloaded the document and enlarged it. Next time you might want to try attaching them directly to the email and then clicking on the picture size button and changing them to 'large' -- I find that reduces them to an emailable size while still being large and sharp enough for the recipient to see. But great job!

Comment: Thanks for the card! The only upcycling project I've done recently it to make fire starters out of old blue jeans. You cut them into squares and put them inside a can in a fire for a few hours and they char but maintain their shape They light very easily after that! My kids and I learned this at scout camp. Comment: My mom did family history (back in the old days, before computers made everything easier!), and I grew up with family stories of 'the old country' and photos and visiting cemeteries and all that. I didn't know that most people didn't do that! haha! So I have a good idea of where my family comes from and haven't considered doing one of the DNA tests. But from time to time I've thought it would be interesting to see if the test matched what I remember from my family. Maybe I should ask for the kit for a holiday gift. :) Thanks for sharing with me! :)

To answer your question about what kind of support groups and classes does NAMI offer, well regular peer support groups and classes about coping skills, suicide prevention, family to family (a class for family members of those who are mentally ill), peer to peer (a class for the peers on how to live with a mental illness), classes on ending the stigma that relates to the mentally ill. And so many more. It really is a great organization. I have been volunteering for close to 5 yrs now and love it! Good luck on your future studies. Happy swapping!!

Also, I've had a crumpet before but I'd heard the saying "tea and crumpets" but didn't know that you could buy a package of crumpets in the US. Indeed, English is pretty common language in Finland, but there is still elderly who do not speak it (or any other languages) as languages were not mandatory in their time at school (my mother is one of them). I once went to adult high school (to finish my "basic school" diploma) and there were people in their 80s studying it for the fist time - classes with them were the best, btw!

When we travel, we get touristy postcards, but also collect all of the travel brochures we can (the best free, but informative souvenirs ever!). Plus, the stickers.....loved them! So cute. :) I don't have one of those machines, but one of my pen pals does and she uses it to cute and measure paper to make into envelopes and then she makes embellishments for the envelopes.
