Comment: Updated 10-1- I was NOT aware of you being in the hospital. For several months I received messages from you that there was too much snow on the ground for you to go to the post office or other various excuses. It was only recently that I was made aware of your supposed 5 month hospital stay. Rather than rehash this in your ratings, I suggest you graciously accept the 3 rating and move on. 9-30 Update: This lovely package would have received a 5+♥ if it hadn't been over 8 months late.
Response: You were aware that I was in the hospital for over 5 of of those months and very ill before that, it was nothing at all personal, if I could have gotten it to you in time I would have, I really am very sorry about the whole situation. I am glad that you were pleased with the package that makes up for a lot.

Comment: This swap was due Feb 2010, you never marked sent until May 2010 in response to several messages from me regarding it. Nothing ever arrived and I emailed you to advise you back in July 2010 - you read the mail but never replied. I will happily change this rating if something is recieved.
ETA - Jan 2011 - Your resend arrived, thank you so much. Your inchies are cute and I appreciate the geocaching badges & stones. 3 Rating simply because it was sent so late in the first place without comms. Thanks again.
Response: As I mentioned in my PM I had no idea that you did not get your package from when ever it was that I mailed it, I know that it was gone long enough before I got it back that I didn't recognize who the package was supposed to be for and the return to sender sticker ripped the address off, you couldn't even decipher it from the back. it would have been nice of you to tell me and give me a chance to resend before just marking me a one after not communicating for so many months. I will send the package tomorrow as I kept it in a baggie in case I heard back from someone about not getting their stuff, I wish you had let me know months ago that it didn't arrive as I haven't heard from you in so long I just assumed you had finally received it as mail from here can be really slow at times. It will be easy to resend as soon as I have the obliterated address as I have kept the items together ready to go if I ever got word about the missing package.

Response: Thanks for letting me know that you mailed wait till you see all the goodies you get in the mini food swap that I am doing, I have a tendency to make more a lot more than needed. like now, I have enough to meet the criteria but I have some other ideas I want to make too!. I am partners with the other person for the swap but with the amount I am making I can put a bunch away for the new year and we do another swap, maybe a nice private swap where we can make the full meal deal, I will talk to you and anyone else interested in the new year.
Oh and the fruit slices come from making canes there is a lot of info on how to make canes on line but they still take some practise at some simple ones before trying anything to elaborate. If you don't want the can to squish a bit when gutting but have really nice round or oval canes ALWAYS chill for a few hours, make a big difference as long as the can looks like you want it to although there is likely to be wastage on both ends, it is the middle the good slices come from.Contact me if you have any other needs
I can make oranges, lemons, limes, strawberry slices, kiwi, grapes, water melon plus lots of other kinds of cakes and desserts. I may cook some directly on a plate as the are so delicate before heating. I hope you'll be up for a feast!

Comment: Hey I got your tags in the mail today and while they are cute I would advise not gluing them to paper...when I tried to remove them the back of the paper tore. I thought about giving you a lower rating but figured I'll just stick them to packages instead of using ribbon. Just a tip...Have a Merry Christmas.
Response: I am sorry! That glue is supposed to be specifically designed to rub off with your finger that is why I used it and it works perfectly about 98% of the time. I can send you another set tomorrow if your interested in trade for a heart(if you feel they are worthy). I am happy to send you double what is required and I won't use the glue on them although as I mentioned is it almost never a problem and I feel badly about that and would really like to sens you some man made and personally made ones if I can make this better for you.I really want people to be thrilled or at least pleased when they get something from me so I would be so very happy to fix that up for you, I will PM this to you too so you get the info ASAP

Comment: Received items ,packaging could have been better inside as all items sat in envelope.
Response: Items have to be packed loose and flat or the postage to the UK gets bumped up to airmail parcel and that's $30 worth of postage that I don't have especially as I have already spent more than that in postage cumulatively for the resends. They also charge by weight and I figured you would rather have embellishments than packing materials as they were already in a bubble mailer. Every ziploc bag adds to the cost. If I had been sending you very fragile items that would have been a different story but little pieces of metal or stickers aren't going to smash. I did send you a lot more embellishments every time than the swap required. This swap has cost me well over $100 between postage 3 times as well as the embellishments 3 times which are very expensive in my small town. I hardly think the fact that they were loose is the end of the world. I think the fact that you finally received it was more important. I didn't get either of the other 2 I sent you back so I am out a ton of embellishments trying to get this swap to you.

Response: A Heart is completely your choice. Of the few people whose swap was sent out late from my health have done both, some gave me a heart, some just rated me 5 like yourself. It is your choice to decide whether I get one and I certainly won't hold it against you for choosing not to. I get my biggest pleasure in knowing you have the goodies and that you enjoy them. Response: I know that the delay was terribly long and in no way normal for me.I did everything I could to make it super special with more of those cute critters than you can count and I hope that even late the package with tons of goodies was exciting and enjoyable. I think you can tell by the number of 5's and hearts I have received that this is not normal for me. I have never been so sick in my life as I was all through the late winter and spring.That's not an excuse, just the reason. But you should have enough ladybugs to last a good long time and I hope you have fun with the heaps of them. You can even go out dressed in style,lol. Thank you for the generous rating all things considered and if we ever trade again I promise it won't take that long although I still may have the tendency to go overboard a bit on the extras!

Response: A severe and very dangerous infection. The Dr. was considering putting me in the hospital for IV antibiotics and that's what would have happened if there hadn't been the smallest improvement overnight. It is still not completely gone but mostly I look and feel like myself again. Apparently these infections that appear dramatically out of no where can be fatal if not treated, I was very lucky I had a Dr.s appt that day anyway but I think my husband would have dragged me into the hospital when he got home from work as it got even worse that afternoon until I couldn't see out of one eye and barely out of the other.

I've always been curious about letterboxing. Does it have to be a rubberstamp or would custom made wax seal work? I think it would be cool to use my seal for it, but I'm not sure just how within-the-rules it would be...

Comment: I've had a long think about this and decided that its only fair to other swap coordinators that i rate you a 1 for now. You marked this as sent on 22nd October yet i got a message on the 30th to say you'd only just posted it and now you've signed up for lots of new swaps, before your other swaps have arrived safe and well. When the package arrives (swap deadline was 31st August) i will be happy to change the rating. I am aware that you have been ill and had computer issues etc, but i feel that those who set up swaps ought to be aware of the situation.
UPDATE November 5th Received the items today
Response: Seeing as you were concerned about the people who set up swaps I just thought I would let you know as of Jan.19/10 I have 76 fives many with hearts so I think the people arranging swaps don't have anything to worry about. There have been no 1's or 3's since then.

Response: I am thrilled that you liked it and if you ever want more paper let me know and we set up a private trade for them. Some of them are so lovely. They will usually work in a cricut machine as I have used it in mine.
