About Me

I am married and have two beautiful daughters, ages 11 months and the other is 5 years old. I have a cat named Belle, and my oldest daughter has a Betta, named Harold. I love to make art in almost any form. If I had the time and moolah, I would have tried everything possible. My favorite artists in no particular order are: Rembrandt, Gustav Klimt, Francisco Goya, Albrecht Durer, Salvador Dali, and Vincent Van Gogh.
My favorite colors are blue, blue-green, and yellow. One day, I would like to own a puppy. I like almost anything Japanese, geneaolgy, Geography (I like learning about other countries),and I love old things. (The older, the better!) I love making craft projects with my oldest daughter, Sydney. She loves to paint and watch her favorite t.v. shows, which are: Charlie and Lola, Wonder Pets, The Backyardigans, Jimmy Neutron, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and she is a huge fan of Sponge Bob. She loves animals too.

Favorite Books

Just last March, I had just finished reading all six Harry Potter books. ( I started in the December before.) I could not put them down. After my children would go to sleep, I would read until almost 1:00 a.m.! Anxiously awaiting for the final book. I also like reading the Junie B. Jones books with my oldest daughter. They are too funny!

Favorite Movies

Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Elizabeth, Ed Wood, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, (That one is my most favorite of all the James Bond films.) Classic Universal Monster Films, Monsters Inc., Disney's Sleeping Beauty, Seven Samurai....uuughh...I wish I could name them all! I also like Kate & Leopold. Oh yeah, I do like to watch some of the quirky B movie monster movies from the 50's thru the 70's. The Hammer Horror films are fun to watch.

Favorite Television

Right now, I am waiting for the 3rd season of Dr. WHO (new..well, sort of..on the Sci-Fi channel). I love this show! I also like to watch Dirty Jobs, MythBusters, The Universe, and almost anything on Animal Planet. One of the other shows I like to watch is Monk and Eureka. I have seen a couple of episodes of The Closer. My guilty pleasure shows are Wonder Woman, CHIPs, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and Space: 1999.

Favorite Crafts

I love Drawing, Sewing, Quilting, Mosaics, and I would like to get into jewlery making.

Comment: These are beautiful ATC's, thank you so much, April. They are all the more special to me, as we keep horses, and my daughter used to make paper cranes on Peace Day when she was at school.

Comment: Thanks for the cards and the extra goodies. Your APCs were totally different than what I'm used to getting, and they were really interesting. Thanks for the info about how you did them. Also, the theme-coordinated envelope and extra goodies were a great touch. I'm honored to be one of your first swap partners.
Response: You are welcome. Thank you for the wonderful review and rating! My first swap was a lot of fun and I can't wait to get the next one started.

PennyArcade on Aug 6, 2007:

i got the DA stickers from a promotional HP5 book. Its sort of an odd book, where you are just supposed to peel off a sticker and then slap it onto a black and white image of the sticker on the next page. very strange, but useful! it was bought at a Fred Meyer Grocery store. Do you have those?

raven on Jul 5, 2007:
