Description:

You will be making 9 ATCs with a Playing Card as the base for the background. Then we will trade 3 cards with 3 different people. For this first round Please use playing cards with the suit of HEARTS. Allow the number of the card, and the suit to show somewhere on the card. The rest of it you can embellish with any technique that you want, from that point. I would like to do more rounds with each of the other suits if there is interest (spades, clubs, diamonds). I have chosen 3 partners, then we can put our ATCs into a nine page card holder when we are done to show them off.
International players, I understand that some playing cards can be different from the ones found in English/American cards and they are welcome to be used for diversity also. I have been making these Altered Playing Cards/ATC size lately, and have been having a great time trading them. The usual "rules" will apply here, no one that does not intend to play, please don't even sign up, as you will be banned and bad Karma will haunt you for 2 years! Please be sure to mark "APC/ATC Hearts" on your envelope. And make note of it inside for your recipient. Remember to put your name, "swap-bot name" and any other information you would like on the back side of the ATC. (I put white card-stock on the back side of my ATCs to write on. ) Many of us join multiple swaps, and it is difficult if you do not mark clearly. Thank you.

What a cool idea. I wasn't going to join any more swaps because I'm having such bad luck with no-senders, but I love this idea. Really looking forward to doing all four suits. C'mon peeps, sign up.

Ha! I know what you mean, I keep telling myself to slow down on these swap things ! Then I see another I just HAVE to sign up for. Really anything you put on an ATC can go on your Altered Playing Card. lets have fun with these, and get some hearts !

this is a nice idea, but sending 9 international envelopes (I don't live in the US) is just too expensive for me...

Question to all: Would you prefer to send 3 Altered Playing Cards to each of 3 participants?
We would still be making and receiving 9 cards. I can go either way, majority can rule here.

I will be off my computer until June 10, so I will not be "ignoring" any one, just out of town. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I will get back to any one with questions when I return. Colleen Fingers, Inc. Hostess.

I am now just joining swaps with at least 2 preferably 3 cards to make because it is expensive to post abroad when there is just 1 card it is a waste. I live in UK and 95% of my partners are from USA.
