hi, my name is robyn and i really enjoy collaging with little kids, eating cereal and soymilk, writing on typewriters, words in general, as well as long walks on the beach. my favorite colors are teal, greens, vibrant colors, charcoal, and (robin's egg) blue. i dig using unsuspected materials for creative projects; i'm thinking this will motivate me to think/make/do more!
i like making simple jewelry, photography (especially b&w), cards, and journaling. i also loove cooking; i make excellent soups and pancakes. i try to stay mainly vegetarian and dairy-free, but i've got a weak spot for seafood somethin fierce.
i want to travel as much as possible, with my soul-partner artie, and write words that could help accept change. anything that doesn't require electricity or batteries is my friend. i love all things strange, unique, bizarre, and completely "normal"-the weirdest things of all!
The Books, Joanna Newsom, James Brown, Tool, Pinback, Chicago, Rod Stewart, Spice Girls, The Blow, Mirah, Boards of Canada, Beck, Radiohead, Explosions in the Sky, The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aphex Twin, oldies, 90s pop/rock, all kinds of everything: absolutely don't like nothing (except really hokey country maybe).
Wide Sargasso Sea, Carnival, Tao Te Ching, Hannibal, Red Dragon, Lucy, The Hummingbird's Daughter, The Dew Breaker, The Bell Jar and on and on and so.
I saved stickers in a time capsule from kindergarten. I opened it when I graduated high school, and promptly began to use them; there were a ton. Those stickers are some of the most meaningful things in my life, besides sincere friends and artie.

I'm pretty easy to please, as long as you enjoyed putting it together, I'll probably enjoy it too!
