I love taking pictures of things, but I love sharing my photography with others even more. That's why I think it would be fun if we made our own postcards, with our own photography on the front. If you'd like, please share where you took the photo and what inspired you to take it. The minium of postcards you need to make is 2 for 2 partners (one postcard each). Of course, always shoot for hearts!!! This swap will give you plenty of time (I hope) to make these postcards, but if you need more time, let me know and we'll see if majority rules. Again, it must be your own photography. We'll have to trust you, but please be honest. Also, you must have zero "no-sends" within the past 3 swaps. I'm pretty nice, so if you have something you feel you don't deserve, let me know. If you don't answer within 48 hours, however, of me PMing you, you're banned. Again, there are excetions to this rule. IF YOU ARE SUSPENDED, YOU ARE BANNED! NO EXCEPTIONS! Newbies are allowed as long as your profile is completely filled out and you log-in regularly, and it is international. Angels are always welcome. And, just FYI: FAQ's: 1.How do I make a postcard with my photography? Well, someone said they just put a stamp right on the back of their photo and send it that way. You can also glue your photo to cardstock (which I did for a swap and it worked great, just make sure it's glued on well!) or a 4x6 index card. 2.Do they have to be made on the computer, or can we handmake them? Either way, it doesn't matter. Whichever is more comfortable to you. 3.Does it have to have a theme? Nope, no theme required. It doesn't even have to be "anything," abstract photography make awesome postcards too! 4.Can we edit our photography on the computer or otherwise? Of course! Sometimes a photo looks great on your digital camera, but then you download and...ick. Or, you just want to tweak it. Go for it! After all, it's still yours!!! 5.Envelope or no? Doesn't matter. It's totally up to you, but I strongly suggest asking your partner. Some people collect stamps, and others like that stuff the PO does to postcards. 6.Do they have to look "professional"? Well, let's put it this way...mine isn't going to. :-) I think that's it. If you have any questions, don't hesistate to ask, and have fun! ~Liz~ |
