Hi! My name is Lauren and I am 29 years old. I live in the south of England, where I have lived my whole life.

I've been a member of Swapbot for years now and yet I still don’t really know what to write in this section.

I suffer from a condition called Selective Mutism, which is a severe anxiety disorder that affects communication. It mostly affects verbal communication, however, it does also mean I can struggle with written communication. I’d love to hear from anyone else who suffers from it, as it doesn’t seem as commonly known in adults. I also suffer from other physical and mental health issues, and crafting/swapping is a great help/distraction

• I rate as soon as I receive a swap, so if I haven’t rated yet, it’s hopefully just because mail can be a bit slow. The latter also applies to swaps I’ve sent.. if you haven’t received a swap from me, please message before rating

• I understand life can get in the way, so if you’re going to send a swap late, just pop me a message and I won’t rate down because of it. However, if you send late (anything that’s 2/3+ days after the deadline) and don’t bother letting me know, I’ll have to rate down

• Where possible, I would prefer to receive envelopes that aren’t completely covered in sellotape/clear tape (with the exception of envelopes that have washi on, because I can peel the sellotape off of it), as I like to use parts of the envelopes in other crafts, and recycle the rest

• Please DO NOT send loose glitter or items with flaky glitter. They will end up being discarded. It’s on my dislikes, but I seem to be receiving more as more of it lately

• Kinder Chocolate.. Our selection here is very small, so would love anything Kinder from where you are!
