China Mieville Neil Gaiman CS Lewis Douglas Adams
And of course...Dr Seuss!
I tend to lean towards favoring earth colors, but I really like the color orange.
I enjoy travelling.
I drink a lot of coffee and tea.
I love getting snail mail and meeting new people.
I love being out in nature.
I have a cat and a dog and have attempted to raise chickens, but haven't been very successful at it.
I am new at making ATC's, so I will always welcome pointers from more experienced people, but I do take pride in my work, so they will never be just slapped together.
Right now I scrapbook. I am working on one for each of my children (one boy and one girl), but gave scrapbooks as gifts to the grandparents last year.
I like beads and making beady things, but I'm not sure I'd consider myself talented at it. My daughter seems to like the necklaces I make for her.
I want to learn to quilt.
Oh yes. I love photography. I don't know that I'm exceptional at it or anything, but I love taking pictures of things.
I'm dreaming of finding or receiving an old skeleton key with or without rust on it!
I love crafts and learning new crafts!
I love pens of every shape and color! I also love journals.
I like military and police patches or items.
I LOVE Alice in Wonderland things. Any Alice in Wonderland anything.
My daughter is into pink, so pink things that I can use for crafts with/for her.
My son LOVES trains, so anything I can use for crafts with/for him.
I am wanting to do a tshirt quilt with shirts from my runs, so I would like to received some interface for the tshirt backs.
I am learning to make chainmail type jewelry, so I welcome wire or designs or anything else I can use for that manner of craft.
I love buttons and ribbon.
Pictures of any kind. If you see something in a magazine that would be great for a craft, I'll use it!
children's craft items.
I love any object from other cultures or countries! I think it's really cool to get pics or cut outs or brochures or souveniers that teach me about a different place.
I believe that we should not force our beliefs on others. In fact, most religions preach love, but have little love for other religions. Each person's spiritual life is personal.
Each religion has something useful that I can learn from. Some religions need more love. Some need more tradition as a reminder of how to live. Some need more appreciation for the earth and the cycles of life.
I do follow one specific religion, but that information is for another place.
I have a 2 year old girl and a 3 year old boy.
My boy is all about cars, Cars, trains, and Thomas. He really likes green and blue.
My girl likes anything pink and purple. If it's pink or purple she says "that's my pink" or "that's my purple." She also likes bugs (butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs). And Dora.
They both LOVE books and coloring and painting.

PM'd you several times on the bird matchbox from the matchbox-thread, since it didn't arrive since I tagged you in February. My pm's from June 7 and June 17 are both still unread, but last time you were online was June 20. I'd be sorry to see you flaking on tags, as you have a perfect record further on swaps.
I have tried PM"ing you several times..Swap Photo PC Challenge Sculpture...the cardboard backing arrived, with no photo attached..??? :(
One day is NOW. write something everyday on that story and you'll eventually end up with a completed manuscript.
Happy People Dancing is amazing! It made me smile and smile and smile. Thanks for telling me about that one. I'd somehow missed it and I've been on the APOD site for years.
Hiya! I just came across a swap you did for a PhotoJournal swap here... that I SOMEHOW missed. I was wondering if you have any plans on hosting another of these any time soon? If so, please let me know as I would LOVE to join. Thanks!
I had a friend with a gray cat named Mojo, but you are not her. ;) I had to come by to check. :)
Also, you may want to join the ATC for N00Bs group (see link in my profile). It's a fun, fairly active group.
got my Pick 2 Tag from the GSC forum today, tahnks for the patch and the cute journal! Hugs, Kiwi
Beverly, Thank you so much for doing a private swap with me for the "Thing 1 and Thing 2 ATC" Swap. Thank you for the "Thing 1" in the hat ATC as well as the "Thing 1 and Thing 2" ATC caught in the net. I like the varied use of materials you used on the ATC as it reminded me of the bright colors Dr. Seuss used in his books. The ATC will be a great start to my Dr. Seuss collection. Thank you again and I hope we meet again on some future swaps. Happy Spring!!!! Barb B.
Beverly - Thank you so much for sending the crayons for the "Crafting for Charity" project that I'm doing with a group of homeschool children and teens. The project starts today and runs through May; and the girls are SO excited to begin working on the items that they will be donating to local and international non-profits. Thanks for helping the girls make a difference! Ann
Hullo from Korea! I was your send-to partner in the Steampunk Container swap. The rating date has come up, but I know it usually takes longer than two weeks from deadline to get stuff over to me, so I'm never fast on the 'did not receive' button! Don't worry - I rate the day I get the parcel, so if you sent when you said, it should be in within another couple of weeks for sure... Hugs, Judith
