Hi my name is Grace. I am a Minnesota girl that moved away from the rural fridged north of almost Canada to the slighty warmer Twin Cities. Switching from a town with no population sign that was pretty much the back side of a big hill to the city has been exciting and I am loving it.
I love to travel and try to as much as I can. I was a German and International Business major so I was lucky enough to spend a year abroad split between London and Freiburg. Still dreaming though of making it to Oktoberfest one year.
My interests: knitting, crocheting, hand-embroidery, quilting fabric, yarn, crafts, vintage goofy linens (fruit with faces and such), handcrafted one of a kind items, old movies, camping, nature, reading, Dachshunds, etc.
I love hanging out with my friends in the fun little local's places. Also like to go out on the boat and hang on the lake in the summer. There is always at least one knit, crochet, paper piecing, or embroidery project in my day bag just for on the bus or waiting in line at a store.
I am really looking forward to getting back in the swapping world. I love sending packages and also love receiving them.
Blue, pink, purple, red, all colors really except not a big fan of brown. I attribute that to 7-12 grade art teacher that did not like brown and would ball up brown tissue paper and construction paper to throw at us. She was a fun quirky lady though that made it fun.
Some of my favorite movies are: The Birds, The Bad Seed, What About Baby Jane, Seven Year Itch, The Princess Bride, Run Lola Run, etc. I like classic movies especially kitschy thrillers. Also like 80's movies and independent movies.
My favorite shows are: Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, Eastenders, The Office (both US and British version),Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Seinfeld, 30 Rock, etc.
I love to read and will read pretty much anything. The only thing I do not really read is romance novel. Some of my favorite classes in high school were Advanced Lit and Brit Lit. Mostly I read classic literature and poetry but also read other things. Some of my favorites include:
Etc. the list could go on and on. I really just love a good book.
Some of my favorite crafts are: knitting, crocheting, hand embroidery, quilting, sewing, etc.
I am always working on several projects in several types of crafts. Work a lot with yarn and love all types of it. I love knitting cables.
This is just a list of things for ideas.
Anything sent I am sure I will like just thought I would list a few items here as ideas.
The only thing I can think of that I do not like is coffee or anything coffee flavored.
My hubby's name is Stephen. He likes that I enjoy swapping and likes to see the fun little swaps I sign up for and what people send. He also likes when there is some chocolate or something in it that I can share with him. So I thought I would sign up for the significant other swaps when they come around so he can get packages too. Some of his likes include: - League of Legends - Paintball - he is on a paintball league - Chocolate or sweets - Snacks - Chai Tea - Coffee - we have a Keurig,k-cups - Shirt size is an XL - Fun socks for work (business) size 9 shoe

Greetings @gracielous
You are the talented person that made me a beautiful Wizard of Oz mug rug back in 2011. I have been searching for you for 5 years but apparently NOT looking in the right places.
I wanted to thank you for my mug rug which is STILL hanging on my wall of honor at work. Now I can put your name on the back and the date I received it.
Please take this as a compliment and put your name on the back of all your beautiful work! You do a great job and should be proud of it. I am sure other recipients like me would love to be able to say who gave it to them.
Your longtime fan, Perkl8r
It's birthday time!
