. . . . . . . . .

July 10, 2026: Hey all, I am moving soon and am in the process of packing my house and updating my address and all that jazz. It's been hectic and my house is full of boxes right now. Thanks for bearing with me. I appreciate the grace.

January 9, 2026: I am back, folks! I have been away from Swap-bot for over a decade, but was invited back by a friend, and jumped back in with both feet. I am an original member of Swap-bot, and have a lot of swaps under my belt. Happy to get back into it! I look forward to swapping with you. I have changed my address as of January 9, 2026. I have been at this address for 7 years now. Thank you!

Here is my Amazon Wishlist. And my Etsy Wishlist. Thank you!

Hi there! My name's Jenny.
My whole life I have gone by Jenny, and I totally despise being called Jen/Jenn. I'm a 40-year-old Florida Native. I graduated from Florida State University in April 2008 with a BA in both Anthropology and Classical Civilizations (ancient Greece and Rome). I now live in Florida, USA and am working as a public library assistant. I use to be very active in the Swap-bot community many years ago, and I'm looking to get back into it in 2026!

I live with my wonderful partner of 8 years. I'm interested in lots of things, love to make things, love getting mail, love meeting new people. My partner and I have 5, yes 5, cats together. They are all indoor cats, so any cat themed things are perfect.

My Swapping Habits:
I am really good about sending swaps on time and sending quality swaps. That's what counts with me. I almost always go above and beyond in my swaps, so I'd really appreciate a heart rating from you when I do so. I reuse packaging, so if you get a recycled envelope from me, it's not because I don't care enough to send you new ones. In fact, I care so much about you, that I want to decrease the waste I put on the planet you live on. I often spruce up these reused envelopes so they are something new again. Hope you don't mind! I appreciate you rating me when you receive my swaps, and if you ever have a question, comment, or concern about something I have sent you, or something you think I didn't send you, please just email me and ask. It is no problem at all. If you genuinely did not get something from me, I will do my best to re-send.

Postcards...

I LOVE postcards! I collect them and have a ton of them. I only collect storebought postcards, NOT handmade ones., and I'm really not wild about ad cards either. I really love touristy postcards from places you've been. I love map postcards, courthouses, monuments, statues, museums, native flora and fauna, bridges, forests, lighthouses, natural formations, rocks/gems, roadside attractions, hotels, motels, restaurants you ate at, etc. I also like pretty art cards, or kitchy, funny cards including postcards from Pomegranate or Chronicle books, ones with cartoon or comic book characters, paintings, illustrations (especially children's book illustrations), fairies, pets, holidays, etc. I like pretty much all postcards, so long as they're not handmade ones, k? ;-)

Books, Books, Books...

I love books. I think books are so super important. I grew up with books books books everywhere you look. Both my parents read to me every night since as long as I can remember. My grandparents read to me when I spent days at their homes. And sometimes when I'm sick or feeling sad, I have my partner read to me to make me feel better. My aunts all have more books than you can imagine and I can remember when my aunt Cathy would come down to visit us, she would bring with her a big tote bag stuffed full of picture books she'd checked out of her library just to share with me and my sister. I still have a soft spot for these children's picture books and have continued to collect them throughout the years. I have tons of books! A library discarded book sale is a glorious and dangerous thing! Picture books make everything seem so REAL, and especially when you're a kid. Reading some of these books again now, I can remember the images seeming larger than life back then, like I could climb inside them and look around, and I still cherish that. I have been working as a public library assistant for almost 9 years now, so I'm working in the field of books!

Comment: Thanks for the Juliet Low card! I was a Girl Scout and between my sister and myself, my mother served with Girl Scouts for 20 years. Have you heard of the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil? It is nonfiction but reads more like a novel. It is set in Savannah and tells a lot of the city's history. Thanks for joining my swap!

Comment: This is a very lovely card, thank you! I spent a short time in Vero Beach Florida in March. I enjoyed it so much that I'm hoping to spend several months there next winter. My parents took us on a road trip up and down the East Coast when I was a kid, and I have vague memories of the Everglades. I hope to visit the Everglades when I'm there next winter.
