Greetings from me to you :)

Well, I suppose you are now running away from me because I'm a newbie, ha! I'm not new to sending happy mail, oh no. I work as a full-time engineer at a manufacturing firm, lived in Hamburg, Germany for many years and loved sending letters and postcards back to friends and family in the US, sometimes including German gifts and treats in my happy mail packages. It's been a while since I've sent some happy mail, so I found this site.

People call me Sernie and I live in the Midwest, USA - a place known for cows and cheese. I don't live on a farm or near cows ha, but I enjoy the quietness and the peacefulness - oh the perks of living in a rural area. When I’m not working, I enjoy sending letters, hanging out with my wife and kiddos, and living an active lifestyle. That means, I enjoy hiking, running marathons and cycling.

Well, I hope to add more to my profile as I learn more about this site. My goal is to hopefully "create" rather than "collect stuff for the sake of collecting stuff"

• Sending and receiving international snail mail- it has always been a fascination of mines learning the way people live differently in different countries. Definitely missed it when I lived abroad.

• Decorated Mail art in any medium, but I prefer envelopes that are decorated in gelli prints, collaged artistically, and drawing

• Modern Ephemera - anything to use for JOURNAL COLLAGING. Label cards, rubber stamped images, ticket stubs, book pages in different languages, untattered international postage stamps (I like floral, botanical, buildings and animals). I ABSOLUTELY DISLIKE stinky papers, super vintage ones, and stained papers

• I do sticker bags, wishlist bags, label bags, deco books, sticker books, used postage stamps, postcard bags and goodie bags. I DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN FRIENDSHIP BOOKS AND FRIENDSHIP LABELS, please do not pass those to me.

• Pretty papers (handmade/fine papers) very different from scrapbook papers*

• Non-touristy postcards in good condition - I love Art illustration types of postcards rather than real life images? Is that weird?

• stickers I like: Mrs. Grossman, Stickii, Pipsticks, Mindwave and Stickopotamus

• Favorite themes: Woodland, Galaxy, Animals, botanical/nature

• Interested in learning about your fitness routine/self care routine :)

• Postcards I can share: lenticular, wooden postcards, lantern press and Edition TAUSENDSCHÖN

• Bath products/Cosmetics (I don't need bandaids, make up samples, no thank you)

• cigarette smells, I’m highly allergic

• Vintage angel with those big eyeballs/Victorian

• Washi tape samples (unless it's a full roll)

• sewing stuff/fabrics

• Food/snacks in swaps

• Dislike stickers that are 3D dimensional, puffy, kiddie, teacher/reward, and planner stickers

• Postage due, yikes!
