I can safely say that J.R.R. Tolkien's classic books The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings are by far my most favorite books! I also read alot of books about ancient civilations as well as alot of books on ancient and recent history. I also enjoy a good book of poetry or inspirational quotes as well as any books full of interesting facts and little known information. I have quite a few books about dreams and astrology as well as some books centered around Irish folklore. I also enjoy coffee table books that are full of interesting pictures.

Most of the music I listen to are instrumental compliation CDs. Think soothing music that you would listen to while at a spa. I also listen to alot of Celtic music too as well as alot of slow ballads from the 80s. I have a large collection of movie and broadway soundtracks as well. Favorite artists include, Meatloaf, Enya, Garth Brooks, Elton John and Howard Shore.

I am a lover of the fantasy movie genre which produced such feature films as The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter. I have a huge soft spot for comic book movies such as Dark Knight, Hellboy and X-Men and I also love romantic comedies like You've Got Mail, and The Wedding Singer. Other favorites are almost any movie from the 80's like Legend, Labyrinth, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Breakfast Club and The Dark Crystal. I also adore musicals such as My Fair Lady, The Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'm still a kid at heart so I can not leave out my favorite animated films which will include any Disney film ever made as well as any feature film directed by the award winning Japanese movie director Hayao Miyazaki.

More often than not you'll find me watching programs on The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet or The Learning Channel. I only have a few shows that I watch on a regular basis and those are New Amsterdam, Lost and House. I also watch American Idol and America's Got Talent as well!

My favorite crafty projects are jewelry making and cross stitch. However, I've also tried my hand at almost every craft at least once, but jewelry making and cross stitch will always be at the top of the list!
