I'm one of your partners for "Profile Comment Swap- Quick." I love that you say the library is your favorite place. I LOVE to go to my library, and also to one in the next town over (which has a better selection). I wish more people would use the library, so that the government would allocate more funds towards them. I used to want to get into scrapbooking, but then I discovered art journaling. I love art journaling because it is messier and has no rules (literally!). It's just a better format with which I can express myself.

I'm curious, what other sites do you swap ATCs on? I used to do swaps with various groups on yahoo, but I like swap-bot much better. More accountability, I guess, and I find it much easier to keep track of everything here. Do you have any other sites that you would recommend?

I see that you like doing ATC's... how hard was it to get into? I've only done one ATC swap so far, and it was a zentangle one, so not the typical thing. I've been afraid to try them so far!
And I think it's awesome that you scrapbook. I've always admired people who do! I love the way they look when they're finished, but I've never been able to find the time to put into one to get it to that point, lol.

Hi Vicky! Just wanted to let you know that the ATC back that I used for the Punch Art ATC was downloaded. It was a free printable download off of a blog called alteredstuff.blogspot.com. Just go there and in the search, put in atc backs and it should be the first one that pops up.

I have just finished reading Curse of the Narrows by Laura M. MacDonald. It is a factual book told similar to a diary of The Halifax Explosion – the biggest, man-made, accidental explosion to have ever happened in the world. The book describes the explosion from days and moments before to the seconds, minutes, hours and days afterwards. Incredible lessons learned came from the explosion including the moment of birth for pediatric surgery. A terrific story from cover to cover and comes highly recommended.
I have two sons too, of course, mine aren't grown up. I can't imagine how lonely I'd be if they were grown up and gone. I always insist my kids are respectful and very polite and I love hearing them laugh. I love reading too; I have a Kindle I adore so no more books in boxes or giving away or selling them!
