Hello, I am a 21 year old English Literature and Creative Writing Student from Hull in the UK. I love reading, creative writing, photography, travel and crafts. I write a regular blog about my craft activities and I have taken part in a few craft swaps through my blog in the past. I absolutely love receiving post so I am looking forward to receiving some exciting things as well as sending some out to new friends!

I love pretty much any craft; I inherited my Mum's love for cross stitch and I am a self-taught crocheter which is probably my main craft. I am currently learning how to machine sew and teaching myself to knit to expand my skills.

I love to receive anything that I can add to my stash, particularly:

• Fabric Scraps
• Fat Quarters
• Charm Squares
• Ribbons
• Buttons (particularly unusual ones!)
• Rubber Stamps
• Washi/Deco tape
• Cross Stitch Kits

But any craft supplies are always greatly received!

• Crafting items (knitting/crochet/sewing/cross stitch) Particularly yarn, fat quarters, buttons and cross stitch kits.
• Anything with Cats on it.
• Anything with Owls on it.
• Anything with Cupcakes on it.
• The Colour Pink.
• Reading - I love to receive anything literary themed!
• Chocolate
• Kawaii items of any kind.
• Travel (I am fascinated by other cultures and experiencing new places so I'd love anything that represents where you are from!)
• Stationary (of any kind)
• Items with VW Campers & Beetles
• Items with Penguins
• Anything Vintage style.
• Hot Chocolate
• The Gorjuss Range
• Sweet/Chocolates from other countries
• Moomins
• I'm obsessed with Halloween and we have limited items available here so I'd love any decorations or craft items of a Halloween theme.

I appreciate any items that I get and the time and thought taken to choosing swap items, but if you are stuck, here are some things I am currently looking for.

• Craft papers - I just received a die cutting machine and I am having fun playing with it!
• Small pens/notelets/sticky page markers/printables to decorate my filofax.
• Bath & Bodyworks mini candles (any scents...I want to try them all!)
• Bath & Bodyworks PocketBac Hand Sanitisers and Holders I can't get Bath & Bodyworks products here :(
• Halloween magazines (when in season) there are very few published in the UK.
• Halloween cross stitch kits...again, we don't get many here.
• Halloween decorations
• Hard Rock Cafe pins for my collection.
• Girl Guiding/Girl Scout badges
• Thimbles for my Mum's collection

My favourite postcards are art/photography ones but I am happy to receive postcards that reflect the personality of the sender.

Ooh this is always the difficult one! I read almost anything purely because of my love of reading. I enjoy reading classic literature - particularly Victorian and Modern but I also love craft books and non-fiction coffee table books...mainly because they look beautiful! I think my all time favourite always comes down to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein though.

• I don't really like spiders but cartoon ones are ok.
• I am also allergic to seafood.
• I don't like monkeys. Cartoon ones are ok but photos of monkeys freak me out for some reason!
• I don't drink tea so teabags are wasted on me unfortunately.

I am really looking forward to receiving some exciting things in the post and I am extremely excited about getting to know people from all over the globe!

I will always post by the deadline and when possible I aim for several days before because post travelling out of the UK seems to take FOREVER and I hate to keep people waiting. I will also ALWAYS rate on receipt and I aim to do this the same day or the day after the swap arrives. I feel that it is only fair and decent manners to thank someone who has taken the time and effort to send you something.

If you have any problems with any of the swaps please let me know and I will do everything possible to rectify them...the last thing I want is for people to feel disappointed! I want to make sure that you love everything that I send and I will always post in plenty of time but if anything does happen to go missing (we know they tend to from time to time) please let me know and I will happily post again or send an alternative :)

Please note that I do use recycled packaging but only of good quality. I do this to not only help the environment but to also keep the postage costs down so that I can afford to spend more on the swaps :)
