My name is Eveline. I live in a town near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I'm married and we have two boys and a little girl. A cat is running around the house too.

I love to sew: stuff for kids, quilts and bags.I like to crochet too. Being busy with paper, making treats for holidays and birthdays, cards en homedecoration is a favorite passtime. Metalstamping and making epoxy jewelry is something new I'm trying these days.

My favorite music is punkrock en NY Hardcore (f.e.: NOFX, Sick of it all, Pennywise, No Use for a Name) and also old-school disco, Abba and singing along with musicals like The Sound of Music and Grease. But I also like to listen to Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy's and ska-music.

I like to watch Costume Drama's from the BBC: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility. Gone with the Wind is so beautiful too! Downton Abbey and Brigerton are great to watch. I have seen al the Harry Potter-movies many times! I can quote almost all the lines from Pulp Fiction too!

When I'm crafting, sewing, baking, painting or whatever, I listen to audiobooks. It's a great way to keep up with literature and being busy with my hands.

I also read a lot. The latest books I read where The Hunger Games-serie, Jennifer Egan - 'A visit from the Goon Squad' and a book from a Dutch writer, Simone van der Vlugt. A book of Louis Couperus , "The discovery of heaven" written by Harry Mulisch. I've just finished 'Island beneath the sea" by Isabel Allende and it is a great book!

I enjoy The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, Once Upon a Time on television. And when Feyenoord or the Dutch soccer-team plays, I'll watch all their games. In the winter I like to watch the ice-skating too.

Receiving mail and packages is one of the nicer things in live. And if they have real stamps on it, it is even better!

For postcard-swaps:

Postcards from your town or country, love the ones with landscapes, with something written about your life. Or postcards with books on it or with illustrations from books and postcards or related to one of my favorite things!

I love swapping and I'll do my best to send out nice and if possible, profile-based packages. And I like it a lot if I can see that my swap-partner has read my profile too and makes the swap with tender, love and care and if they use real stamps instead of the printed ones, I would really appreciate it!

I will always send as soon as I can. If I am late in sending, I will always mail my partner. PLEASE contact me if you don't receive a swap from me or if you're not happy with it! I'm always willing to prepare a new one and re-send it!
