Doohickey

I love to sew (although my sewing machine is feeling a bit neglected at the moment), I have yet to attempt to make clothing but I am quite good at making bags, toys & blankets. I am learning how to knit at the moment, will have to get a refresher course from my friend as I have forgotten most of what she told me (sorry Bonnie). I took up painting 6 months ago which I am thoroughly enjoying, the feeling you get trasfomring a blank canvas into a work of art gives me a warm fuzzy feeling :) I help out with the Sunday School lessons at my Church and I have a blast coming up with craft projects for the kids (and myself) to do each week.

I ama science nerd who loves to craft! After finally finishing my medical science degree (yay me!) I now actually have spare time to craft again. I am happily married, have no kids yet (well no human kids, we treat our dog and cat like our babies) and am enjoying life now that I have the money and spare time. I am an open and honest person with a great sense of humour. I love making people laugh and I am a strong believer that a good hug can brighten anyones day :)
