My husband and I recently relocated to Florida, USA from South Jersey. We both wanted a change of scenery, so we took a leap of faith and moved! We have three boys (8,5, & 2) and so far they love it here. I do miss my family ALOT!!! But I think once they come to visit they might get hooked as well !!

ABOUT ME: I enjoy family time, whether with my biological family or church family (Christian). I love going to the movies and going out to eat. We always try to visit different restaurants to experience new foods and cultures (Our favorite of the moment is Vietnamese... Love myself some phở!). I am currently staying home with the little ones since moving to Florida. Even though I am loving it, it takes some getting used to!
My Creative Me:
I enjoy painting and sculpting, but my passion and first love (relating to art) is drawing with charcoals and pastel chalks. Even though I received my BA in Fine Arts in 2002, I just recently rekindled my passion for art via Art journaling and Mixed media art.
Currently I'm addicted to Art Swaps (via FB groups) and drawing Whimsygirl faces (Thanks to signing up for LifeBook 2014).

I love working with my hands! I've been crafting forever, especially as a bible school teacher I always incorporated art in my lessons.
I'm new to the world of Mixed Media, and to swapping and I've become sort of an addict. Any extra $$ I get I go straight to the clearance section of craft store and see what goodies I find.
I'm just starting a collection of stamps, stencils, paper, ephemera, etc.. I love adding texture to my work, I love shading, curved shapes, text (whether as part of the background or as a sentiment). I love my chalk pastels (haven't tried pan pastels, but they are on my wishlist). Watercolor used to scare me, but I am learning how to work with them and now I'm in love, (pencils, crayons and pan)!

I love all kinds of movies, but I don't like horror movies, anything with gory nasty slimy looking demon like characters, I don't like to look at ugly scary things... ugh!

I do Love... Coming to America, Bad Boys, Fast and Furious series, Disney (little Mermaid always my fav), anything with Bruce Lee, Chuck norris or Jackie Chan, Love Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller movies, Wedding Planner, Bridesmaids, Taken, Tyler Perry Movies... I watch a lot of movies!

Currently: Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order SVU, American Idol, anything on Food network, Top Chef, Project Runway, Dancing with the Stars, NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles... the list goes on!!
I even like sitting with my kids to watch, KC Undercover, Lab Rats, Dog with a blog, Bubble Guppies, Paw Patrol, Doc McStuffins... This is probably why the housework doesn't always get done!

I love all types of music from gospel, to rock, to salsa, to bachata, to hiphop... event country! Because I'm bi-lingual that is double the music!
