They make me think of my Mom as her name was Iris. And my wildflower bed is now blooming for the first year. Every time I go out I see at least one butterfly. Have a great day!

Mine was spent tending to terrified cats, as we have an extreme amount of illegal fireworks around here - the kind that you'd see at a large amusement park, ones that don't belong in neighborhoods. Comment: Thank you for the lovely card and note. Quick answer to your last question. I did live in upstate NY for a couple years as a small child but CA has been home for most of my life. We have seasons (rain and no rain) I visited NC in Feb and was struck by the starkness of the bare trees. I lived in a redwood forest at the time and they are evergreen.
