Comment: UPDATE:::I just got your resend of the coloring book swap, thank you SO much! this one was amazing and you went way above and beyond with the extras! Thank you so much!:::::While i did receive a sheet protector full of pictures -not exactly a book-, there is only 1 picture that was actually on my list of likes, or that I would have any interest at all in coloring... i was really excited for this swap, and had hoped that my partner would make a little more effort to find things i would have wanted to color, especially since the swap coordinator went to all the trouble to have each participant list the things they were most interested in coloring.... But thanks for sending at least...
Response: Ah, I apologize about it not being in a book. The item wasn't ready to send yet when I packaged it up. That was my fault. However, You specifically listed in your notes: mandalas, girly things, flowers, fairies, animals, mermaids. I spent hours finding just those items. Maybe you got sent the wrong item? If yours had bugs and weird items in it then it wasn't for you. If yours did have the right items in it, such as the mermaids, flowers, mandalas, etc. I'd appreciate it if you would let me know what exactly it was that you didn't like. I will go ahead and re-send. I would like you to be happy with your swap. I will re-send when I hear back from you if you just didn't like those particular images or if you got the wrong images altogether. Again, my apologies. Thank you for the 5, but if you weren't happy, then we need to fix that!!

I go crazy in bookstores and libraries, like a kid in a candy store. I have actually not heard of The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing or Abarat but thanks for the recommendations. I will check them out!

I'm sure mine will love the toy - but so far I've been unable to coax them to eat treats (maybe these will work!) ... putting the eye treatments in the fridge as soon as I get home, I usually have to soak washcloths in cold water and swap them out (eyelids and eyes swell, ouch) so I'm hoping these will last longer, very good idea!
Response: Yes, I did, once, but unfortunately Tom Skeritt is no longer part of my life. He was funny to watch running around and then he'd throw himself on the ground like a speed bump. Glad you can use the eye stuffs, bummers about the swelling! Hope these help out!!

(I want to tear 'em open!!!!!)...UPDATE 3/6/10 My prediction was correct! He loves everything. The "doodoo" (dinosaur) and "doodoo" coloring book were awesome choices. He is so glad to have his OWN crayons now. He doesn't have to share with his sisters! I know he will have fun with the tub crayons too! Awesome job!

My kids have claimed some of the candy. They even asked if they could have some of the ribbon so I'm sharing some with them - reluctantly. That's funny actually that your mom also has a bit of a menu collection...it's good fun sometimes to try and sneak out of a restaurant with a menu. However, I've been out of the habit of collecting them the past few years, but mostly because I haven't been to any restaurants that I fall in love with the style/type/etc. of menu that they have. I've become quite picky in my 28 years of what menus I will add to my collection.
