Comment: Hey! Thanks! I am so not worried about the lateness. It was worth the wait! My 4-year-old daughter saw the sunflowers with the veggie tales on them, that she and her sister are out in the yard now planting them willy nilly all over the yard. From the looks of it, I should have one in my asparagus patch, one next to the fire pit and one next to the wagon wheel. I think the neighbor will even have one next to her tomatoes :) I love the bottles. They are so neat! I'm not sure whether to melt them or try to slice them. I may go with melting and then etch some pretty flowers or something on there. :) Thank you!

Comment: I liked this card-recipe. thank you The stamps are cool too. I enjoy cottage cheese but it is expensive here a small container (about 1 cup) costs $3.57. I don't buy it very often.
Response: That IS expensive. I live by the border and we have TONS of Canadians that cross to buy stuff at our local dairy and Safeway. BUT they only allow $20 worth of dairy to cross per person so I see families of 5 or 6 piling out of vans so they can buy $100 worth. Crazy!

Comment: Dyona--Nate is going to LOVE the water balloons and kite. We both have to get swim suits so we can get into the fun with him next Friday which is his turn to be with us all day until we pick up Rissa at about 4:00 from day care. That has been the way we worked Rissa into Fridays since Nate was SO attached to me and never shared me with anyone. He had some challenges letting Rissa into our life. He's doing well with it now--most of the time! Happy long week-end!

Comment: Thanks, Dyona and family, for the box of wrapped surprises for Nate and Rissa. Amusingly, Nate turned 4 on May 1, and we celebrated his birthday today. But this week is Rissa turn to spend all day with us, so she'll get her surprises first, and I'll probably wait for Nate to get his next week, keeping them in the box so he knows they came in the mail to him at our house. I cannot wait to see what you picked out for each of them--loved all those stamps that are perfect for Nate! I have to try to get them off the package for him to glue to a collage or picture of some sort. For the next swap, I hope to let him help pick out the items and package them so he has the fun of giving and getting a fun surprise back in the mail at our house. Have a good new week! Peggy
Response: Thanks! I am sure the lady thought I was crazy when I asked to buy stamps to put on there instead of the printed out one. But she had some cute stamps! Glad he will like them. Senna LOVES getting mail so I figured a box with fun stuff was the way to go! Have a great day! And have fun seeing their joy when they open stuff.

Comment: I plan on visiting Seattle one of these days. It's pretty sad I've never been there. Is the revolving restaurant still in the space needle ? They have one here in L.A. but it's not too well known.
Response: Yes! The restaurant is still there. I went to it about 10 years ago. It is very pricey...at least for me it is. But going to the top is fun too. Have a fun visit when you come. Lots to see and do!

Response: Glad she likes them. And about the date. I had a few mix ups last week and forgot postage on some things and thought I sent a couple things when I didn't. I thought I sent an email...but apparent not. I worked extra and it threw off my week. Things are better now and hopefully I don't mess up again! Thanks for the 5 and heart even though I messed up!!!

Response: He is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina so...on the other side of the states. However he is currently deployed to Afghanistan. Maybe some day they will be closer.

Response: Yes...very crowded. Summertime it is crazy busy. It is made up of all sorts of vendors...crafts (jewelry, woodworking, leather, glass, metal), food, flowers and a few specialty shops down one floor. Hope you have a great day!

Comment: got the package today - only one question: where's the double-heart button?? I love LOVE L-O-V-E the book! I just 'bout cried when I randomly turned a page and there was the song my dad used to sing when I was a kid. Sure took me back. The chocolate was very nice; I felt a slight attack of generosity and shared with my coworkers and hubby. But the peppermint candy...my generosity does have a limit. My very favorite candy (also fave ice cream flavor)!! Thanks so much. This is my very first ever swap, and I do believe I'm HOOKED!!
