Wife, Dog mom, and Knitter living in Japan.
I'm in a military family, we have a US address, but I do need things shipped to me via USPS Priority Shipping. UPS doesn't deliver here & regular parcel post takes 3 months. (!!) You will have to fill out a customs form, but it only takes about 37 seconds =). Thanks for your support!
I love bees! They are so industrious & hardworking. A society of sisters, gotta love it. My stationery has a bee on it, I sweeten my tea & oatmeal with honey, and I'm currently coveting the Etsuko Fuyura beehive fabric and the bee rings at Anthropologie. I especially like quirky and unexpected bee things (see ring) and bumblebees are among God's cutest creatures. Bees bees bees.
I love Japanese stuff! They have the most imaginative little gadgets and doo-dads. Love Bentos & things I can use in my lunch-box. Love cake & frosting. Love cute dogs. Love the scent of REAL jasmine & REAL orange blossom/neroli...REAL, sorry, I'm very picky about that.
John Mayer (le sigh). Dave Matthews (le sigh). Vivaldi. Top 40...no rap.

LOVE tv. It's a little out of hand really.
Knitting! I love knitting. I knit very slowly, so don't expect to see me whip anything off the needles if you send yarn. That doesn't mean I don't adore the stuff and stash it like a squirrel does acorns. I love natural fibers and have even found some acrylics I like. Just no fun-fur, popcorn texture, or Red Heart brand. I find those yarns unpleasant to knit with.
Sewing! Well, more specifically, FABRIC. Just recently fell in love and am head over heels with riotous color. Amy Butler, Kaffe Fasset, kitschy cherry prints, marimekko, and of course, Etsuko Fuyura for Japanese quirk.
