*First, I just want to say, I'm here to swap and participate in forums/groups on my own time. I've recently voluntarily dropped from a few groups whose administrators were either always demanding I (and other members) join swaps or were a little controlling. This should be fun, people - not something that demands my time. So, if you have a group, you can ask me to join, but I'm not one to participate often, so there's that. Thanks anyway.
I craft. I loooove craft supplies of any kind. I love to reuse/recycle. I am (to use an annoyingly trendy term) a locavore. Otherwise, I eat veggie. I prefer cruelty-free items. Animals I love are owls, cats, goats, and monkeys/apes/prosimians. I drink tea, mainly, but will indulge in some coffee if I don't have to go to bed early. I am in my mid-30s and graduated last year with a BS in Anthropology. Love all anthro-themed stuff. I also love geography themed items like maps and globes. I try to be active in my community, when I have the time. I love music and have been singing since I was three. I've been reading since about then, too. All time favorite past-time is gardening. I now have a large yard that is getting prepared for a lovely garden. I love gardening-themed stuff. I love crochet and knitting supplies. I also love anything to do with permaculture. I adore vintage, so that's always a way to my heart.
FOR SWAP PARTNERS (just FYI):
*I prefer not to receive overly processed foods with fillers (high fructose corn syrup, msg, etc.) in them. I'm not a big fan of candy (except non-dairy chocolate).
*I drink all kinds of tea and I love CHAI.
*I don't use animal tested products.
*I do have pierced ears. I prefer not wearing animal-based wares, unless it comes from a sustainable source.
*I love photography, gardening, crafting, office supplies, ATCs, books, music, jewelry (especially handmade).
*I love anything with primates, owls, or goats on them. Although I love cats, I'm not really into the cutesy cat/kitten stuff.
I live with two giants:
My 6'4" gorilla of a man, Tripp...
I also live with the sweetest (but very dumb) little tuxedo of a cat, named Patsy. We got her in Oct. of 09. She's not the smartest cat, but she makes up for it in lovins...
And last, but certainly not least, our baby Jacob, who adopted US in 2009.

ANYTHING Sedaris. I love Noam Chomsky, Michael Albert, Howard Zinn, Tom Perrotta, Charlaine Harris, old and new sci-fi (mainly old), horror, Clive Barker, political, ecological, biographies, again - Woody Allen, and many more.

It might not be obvious from the long list on my profile, but I'm really not that picky. I am on here to mainly give, anyway. I do like receiving, like most people, but I am very grateful for what I receive. Let's all have fun! That's what we are here for.

You have been tagged by Gidgetclaws... you must now spread some Christmas cheer to complete strangers or a large potted plant will land on your head while you are asleep.
