Hello!

I am a newer postcard collector and very excited to make fun connections all over the world!

I love learning about other cultures and traveling, especially to places in Latin America where I have lived for some extended periods of time -si, hablo español :).

My years living abroad were spent with a missions organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission o JCUM/Juventud Con Una Mision) where I focused on counseling ministry and working with women wanting to leave prostitution or sex trafficking.

My passion is to prevent human trafficking and provide resources (such as therapy, health care, education, etc.) for survivors who have been exploited so that they can go on to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

If I could do this anywhere in the world, I would go back to the Amazon of Peru where I have lived for 1.5 years. I loved my time in Iquitos and left a piece of my heart there!

Currently, I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. We freeze in the winter and go crazy for the sun in the summer. We are known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes", so we are pretty obsessed with the water and that suits me well! I find rivers and waterfalls very soothing.

Postcard preferences: Just all of the cards! I'm happy to receive whatever, in or out of envelopes :) Please include the date if the swap doesn't already require it!

I love animals but especially dogs and elephants, going to see live music, and collecting postcards of course!

**I would love to receive cards with animals, landscapes, people (preferably not nude), fun colors, or unique parts of your city. The more meaningful to you, the better -tell me why you chose the item you're sending :)

**Tell me about your favorite things to do in your town/city/country, your favorite ethnic foods, cultural traditions that mean a lot to you, send cards in or out of an envelope, touristic cards, homemade or cards made by local artists (almost all that I send are made by local artists, I like supporting small/local businesses!) -all postcards are welcome :)
