Hello

I'm Hope, I'm eighteen, and in my last year of school, studying French, English Lit, Art, and Graphic Design. I'm planning on studying English Literature and Linguistics at Westminster next year, which I'm pretty apprehensive about. I like life at school, and I don't know how ready I am to leave it. I also work evenings and Sundays in a bookstore, which is hard work, but being surrounded by books all the time is the best.

Other languages and just words and typography in general fascinate me, and I've got a bit of a thing for anything with my initial on it.

I like writing letters and making ATCs and mix CDs. Beautifying the package is one of my favourite parts of sending mail; I like the idea of pretty packages being carried around - makes a change from boring brown bill envelopes :]

I really don't like butterflies/moths/creepy crawlies in general, or glitter. Also, please don't send me smoky/pet-hairy/religious things. Anything else is welcome :]

• My music taste is fairly mellow: Lykke Li, Florence and the Machine, Tegan and Sara; Bon Iver, The Appleseed Cast, El Perro Del Mar, Regina Spektor, The Temper Trap, Mumford and Sons, Local Natives, Fleet Foxes, Passion Pit

• As for teevee, I like proper boxset series. My favourites are Skins, Dollhouse and Doctor Who. I also have a growing love for Supernatural, despite its mostly batshit fandom :D
