I'm a lady in my thirties living just outside lovely Cleveland, Ohio. I live with my dog (a rescue greyhound named Marcel, also my best buddy) and two cats, Linus and Kiddo. I work as a nanny and spend my free time sewing, knitting, going to comedy shows, and performing burlesque. I also love to read, write letters, bake, cook, and make just about any craft I can think of!

I read a lot of memoirs. I love being able to read stories of how others grew up and how they live when their lives are drastically different from my own. I also like to read historical fiction and non fiction. I love books about science and also short stories. I'm not a huge fan of poetry but there is some that I like. I'm trying to get more into reading fiction because it's something I don't do often.

I mostly sew. I like making clothes for myself, and I also have a line of plush toys that I sell. I also dabble in knitting, felting, embroidery, and mixed media stuff. I'm a burlesque performer and I also make a lot of my costume pieces. And never underestimate the fun and relaxation of a box of crayons, some markers, and a coloring book!

Things I like:

I am a bright person. I wear bright colors all the time (even if they clash!) and I'm almost always wearing red lipstick. I love makeup and have way too much of it (is there such a thing??). I also like to make/buy things for my cats and dog. I love anything quirky and kitschy and my apartment is full of toys and fun things. I'm a huge fan of dinosaurs, robots, and sea creatures. Basically, I like anything cute, fun, and colorful :)
