crafty things i have sort of mastered: cross-stitch, embroidery, quilting, knitting, general sewing, zine making

i currently reside in wet & windy wales, born in england with a slightly jamaican heritage, plan on getting the heck off this island as soon as possible, top 5 countries to visit would have to be america (specifically chicago), italy, mainland greece, iceland and germany. got a love of travel but no funds to do it yet

netflix has ruined my life. i love films, specifically horror films and independent films. i'm really behind on my film education though, having only just recently seen the exorcist and shawshank redemption (my friends are constantly recommending films)

i play the cello and have played the flute/piano in the past. i speak german and french to a pretty poor standard but i'd love to learn at least one of them fluently

i have a love of all things a little spiritual/magical, currently learning the art of tarot card reading and palm reading, i find it all really interesting although i'm not sure i'm a total believer in it

favourite drinks: green tea (usually with lemon or mint although i keep trying every new flavour that crops up at the shops), gin and tonic, hot chocolate, apple juice favourite foods: chocolate, homemade banana bread, homemade anything really, i'm a terrible cook but a decent baker, i love finding new recipes and giving them a go

i adore the seaside, the british coast is stunning but i want to see the sea/ocean from every coast in the world, clear skies are my favourite because of bright blue stretches or the stars being visible at night (which is pretty rare where i live)

i like reading zines, usually personal zines or fictional ones because it's beautiful reading someone's writing, untouched by publishers/real editors, it feels more raw and heartfelt than published books

i have a soft spot for silly handmade things but unfortunately not many of my friends make things but it's ok because then i make them and give them away and that's just as lovely

i like playing the ukulele and singing really badly i like perfectly painted nails and wearing makeup to the supermarket but not on a night out

i like stick and poke tattoos and have two myself, one done by two silly boys and the other done by me, both on my wrist, both badly done, both beautiful in a dumb way

i like long conversations with strangers and old friends and new friends and friends that stick around. i like falling in love with people because of their words and thoughts.

i like writing long letters to people and filling up envelopes with silly little things that are completely impractical but are kinda cute.
