Hello, am a married mama to two pretty fun kiddos. Try doing all kinds of activities with both kids, but if you have an activity or craft idea for a 10 and 2 year old, I'm open to suggestions...and I'm pretty thrifty with supplies, as sometimes I have more fun making salt clay or homemade paper-mache paste than the creating things with them.
I have a Instax Polaroid camera, and it's so much fun...but don't mind pulling out the big camera for fun either. And a regular Polaroid camera... The nostalgia from high school is hard to resist!
We live on 5 1/3 acres woodland paradise, and have tried gardening the past couple years. I've enjoyed the weeding and such, and have extended my raised beds a bit this year. We'll see what I come up with.
I tend towards spending free time crocheting, pen paling, junk journaling, and trying to learn different recipes...anything from scratch has become an interest, and have started enjoying cooking. I just hate clean up!!!
Dislikes... most girly things, as I just don’t use things like makeup, glittery jewelry, Disney anything, etc. If I receive anything I’m not fond of, I will pass it along to another swapper or to a pen pal who would use it (if the 10 year old doesn't get it first). No politics or religious anything, please. I tend toward pagan beliefs and do not force it onto others.
Allergies... I am allergic to most bath items, so please refrain from sending those items, unless it’s all naturally made from sustainable resources. I do make my own face wash and body scrubs from time to time, and would love to share those “recipes” if you’d be interested in sharing them.
Thanks in advance!
We don't have any streaming service, and only have access to the Farmer Five channels, via an antenna...but we do like movies, and I have been known to have a Gilmore Girls or Outlander marathon. Downton Abbey is also a favorite.
Funko POP figurines- my favorites I have are Doby, Coralline and the Other Mother, Annabelle, Jack Sparrow, Darrell from the Walking Dead
Journals and stationary

Jack Skelington anything (I was gifted a traveling Yahtzee game of his head, and I love it!)
Decorative boxes (especially with maps on them)
Creepy Japanese/Chinese/Oriental dolls
I’d love to start up a bumper sticker collection again... I miss the ones I had on my Escape!
Philadelphia Story
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (the movie is waaaaaaaay better than the book...first and only time I’ve ever said this!)
Jungle Cruise
Rio Bravo
Coraline
Nightmare Before Christmas
Sleepy Hallow

Last of the Dogmen
I love dragonflies, gnomes, fox, red tailed hawks, raccoons, skunks, and anything ancestral related. I decorate a lot with found acorns, walnuts, pine cones, and other items found in our woodland paradise. And, yes, I'll clean bones found and use them in art projects, especially for wind-chimes or a random crochet piece...I'm one of those weirdos who live on the hedge and can be easily misunderstood, and that's okay. I've recently crocheted a pair of hands that I'll be attaching to a tree...we're tree huggers, to a point. It's mostly to make people smile at the randomness.
Diamonds: Ace through King
Clubs: Ace through 6, 10, Jack
Spades: Ace through King
Hearts: Ace through 7, 9, Jack, Queen
Lots of odds and ends, and several decks to pull from for trading/swapping. I don't have a particular want or need for a specific backing, and am not picky either. As long as it falls within any/all swaps and their parameters, I'm happy. I just think it's so cool to see all the different types of decks out there! I do have a few jokers I can send along, and if I see you're looking for one or two, I'll pass them along.
I respect most religions...I just don't respect the person who forces their beliefs onto me. I'm always working on home protection and keeping the kids safe. Always walking barefoot whenever feasible living in Indiana and our ever changing crazy weather systems we get sometimes. I have an art space that also is occupied by my pagan books...I tend toward Celtic and Germanic beliefs and practices with being German/Irish decent, but constantly trying to learn and read from both and meshing the two together... Probably why Samhain is my favorite holiday and the original Grimm Brothers fairytales are my favorites... iykyk Pan is a favorite of mine in working with...which at times is hard since I have a hard time with lots of noise/music...so it's been an interesting journey with him. Otherwise I don't work with any deities.

Zines - newest obsession, and getting my folds right... 🥰
I may seem to hide from time to time from swapping, but only because I get overwhelmed and overstimulated. So, I will occasionally take short breaks from swaps after sending out what's owed (and before the deadlines). But I will definitely continue to participate at least once a month with group swaps, and the random journal swap if it's a fun one.
