I have long brown, naturally curly hair, my ears are pierced & I own a pair of crocs. I'm married to a blacksmith/computer genius & have 2 boys age 5 & 7. I live in a A-Frame in the mountains. I am a SAHM, my husband works from home, & we're homeschooling our boys. I use tote bags everywhere I shop, not just at the grocery store, but at the mall, thrifts stores, etc. We eat 100% organic, mainly vegetarian, use non-toxic/biodegradable cleaners & recycled paper toilet paper. I clean my house w/ vinegar & baking soda that I buy in bulk & I use rags made from old towels, t-shirts, even socks & onesies.
I have one ducky bathroom (the kids) & one frog & bugs bathroom w/ silver (chrome), green & blue colors (ours).
I'd love to score some Japanese craft books &/or foreign deco books esp. kid's rooms.
The Holidays are fast coming. We don't celebrate Halloween, but we do enjoy the harvest, bounty, & splendid colors of Autumn. Pumpkins are great as long as they are happy & not scary. As for Christmas, we celebrate family & fun holiday traditions like stringing popcorn & cranberries, baking cooking, making homemade eggnog, etc. We don't do Ho Ho/Santa Claus, elves, red & green overkill. We buy a live potted Christmas tree that we plant in our yard & deco our house w/ garden/nature-themed decorations w/ touches of red berries & fresh pine bows.

We don't get TV, or cable. No antenna, no local channels, nothing. Personally I don't like TV anyway. I HATE commercials! TV is mostly a waste of time. However, I do rent some TV shows from Netflix, like: Battlestar Galactica, The Shield, Six Feet Under, Firefly, Grey's Anatomy, Sopranos, Scrubs, X-Files, MASH, Seinfeld. Back in the day when I used to watch TV, my favorites shows were: Saturday Night Live, SCTV, Moonlighting, thirtysomething, China Beach, Remington Steele, Hart to Hart, Dr. WHO, Soul Train, Sesame Street,...I watched alot of PBS/Nova.
