I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 daughters, 1 son, and 1 husband {who could handle more than that :)}

I have been a nurse for over 20 years and have worked mostly with cancer patients and the geriatric population.

my favourite colours are: forest green, pink, turquoise (my new favourite), olive green, red, black & white. I very much like the brights -- pink, lime, blue, yellow, lavender.

I am a tea drinker and dislike the taste of coffee -- but love the smell (a coffee candle is heavenly).

I am addicted to cheesecake and eat chocolate cake occasionally. Otherwise not a big sweet person. Christmas is my favourite holiday but I love the crafty things related to Halloween too.

i like mostly anything but definitely like swing and good rock and roll from the 50's & 70's (guitar stuff great then).

I am a huge Melissa Etheridge, Tina Turner, Queen fan.

I enjoy a good mindless comedy or romantic comedy the most. once in awhile a drama. Huge fan of kids movies -- Favourites include Toy Story (the original), Beaches, Legally Blonde.

I am a big TV addict. I enjoy a lot of reality TV (sadly) especially Amazing Race, True Beauty, Survivor (occasionally). Big Brother (its kind of addictive). Not a fan of American Idol but like America's Got Talent esp. so far this year without David Hasselhoff.

All my shows are gone. . . . Without a Trace, Cold Case. Sex & the City. Not too many comedies that I still enjoy. Love Nurse Jackie, Dexter (what a great ending last season, eh?)

i like to quilt, photography, cross stitch. i know how to knit & crochet but haven;t done them in awhile. i am learning to do ribbon embrodery and hardanger. I do machine embroidery and I am learning to do machine heirloom sewing. I am not a big fan of any hand sewing.

PS i think i underdescribed my obsession with quilting...i really LOVE it!!
