And so she decided to start living the life she had imagined.
Hello Friends,
You can call me Nidhi. It means treasure.
In a world where practically everything is going digital, i am grateful that snail mail is being brought back into fashion again. It's a small joy of life but most definitely needed by many of us. I am no different.
I was introduced to the concept of writing letters when i was a kid ( about 20-22 Years back). During those days, we had simple picture postcards and cute little writing pads. I remember sitting at my study desk atleast once a week and literally pouring my heart out to my friends. It was a beautiful routine. When the postman came with letters for me, my happiness knew no bounds. I would carefully cut open the envelope and soak in all that written. Those were the days when memories were physically treasured and then things slowly started changing.
I am looking at getting my love for writing back through this website. Apart from writing as a hobby, i also enjoy reading, travelling, nature photography, budget home decor, designing products and self caring.
I have two big projects that am working on currently and very excited about them. You could say i am kickstarting my journey into the world of entrepreneurship. More about this once the project is in launch stage.
Would love to make pen pals who would prefer to stay connected regularly.
Will give my best in the swaps that i participate. Incase of any delays, please do check with me once.
Looking forward to getting started on this exciting journey with all of you.
Carpe Diem ! La Dolce Vita !
This year i have decided to consciously adopt to the slow and mindful way of living. This would include going minimalist, adopting zero waste methods, less plastic at home, decluttering my home and mind regularly, following a daily morning and night time routine and a lot more. Though i started doing it 2 years back but you can say am more aware of it now.
I absolutely love reading and make it to a point to read a minimum of 3 books a month. I am a member of 3 book clubs and this helps me to keep my daily reading in check. I enjoy thrillers the most. Self help books are also my favorite. Last year i read two books which changed the way i started looking at life. 1. Hygge : The Danish way of being happy 2. Ikigai : The Japanese way of finding your purpose in life
1.Stationery items are my favorite. I collect accessories related to journals( like stickers, book pockets, colorful note pads, note cards etc). Any inspirational or motivational words are an instant hit for me. Floral designs also attract me a lot. Especially on diaries, notepads and planners I am a big sucker for anything that helps you increase your productivity. Always looking for stuff to help me stay more organized.
Since i do a lot of reading and writing, bookmarks are another thing i collect.
Washi Tape ( Mostly bright ones)
Self Affirmation cards
Magnets ( Travel or Floral or Motivational)
So far i have been to Bhutan, Germany, Italy, Venice and Czech Republic. This is apart from my own country India and my current residing country ( USA). I am always eager to learn about new places through postcards, leaflets, brochures or magnets. You can send me any of these.
Am not too fond of any animal. So please do not send me anything thats animal themed. I am not a very religious person. I do believe in god and pray to him. But thats about it. I don't collect anything thats religious.
