I'm 27 years old, and a graduate student in political science. I joined Swap Bot as I've started to get back in the habit of hand-writing, and was looking for some pen pals who might be interested in the same thing!

I've had a long interest in Europe, starting with the typical nerdy Anglo-philia in high school and turning into an actual profession studying European politics. I'm currently working in Europe getting data for my thesis, and though I plan on visiting as much as I can throughout my career I still consider myself very much American and don't plan on settling on this side of the Atlantic.

I'm engaged, getting married in June 2013. My fiancee and I love traveling, cooking and board/card games. I'm also a crossword addict and a beer snob. Happy to talk about these things, and always especially happy to talk about her :)
