A warm and friendly welcome to my profile:)

I'm a primary school teacher living in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We live a short drive from our fabulous city centre, rolling countryside, cosy villages and fantastic shorelines so living on a small island has something to suit my every mood:)

I love crafting and spend lots of time making fun stuff with my daughter Rebecca, who is two. Our favourite thing to do at the moment is paint tiny pebbles found on the beach.

I've an interest in vintage children's books and adore 1940's Boris postcards. I just found a great Hansel and Gretel one on ebay and framed it for Rebecca's room... my favourite time of day is reading her a fairy story at bedtime, even if she chooses The Gingerbread Man four nights in a row!!

I've told my husband that I'd love a sewing machine for my birthday this August. I have so many patterns and designs of my own that I can't wait to try... cute toys for Rebecca and gifts for friends mostly!
