Oh, I can hardly contain myself! I tried for years to introduce people to John D. MacDonald's books, with absolutely no success. His Travis McGee series is my favourite set of books. With names like The Long Lavender Look, A Tan and Sandy Silence, Free Fall in Crimson - the names alone are so evocative. Wouldn't those make great swap names too, if there were other MacDonald fans around? I was devastated when I heard MacDonald had died, because it meant Travis (and the other recurring characters) died along with him.
One of these days, I'm going to track down - or even place an order for - some of his non McGee books. I have a handful, and all of the McGee ones, but lots more MacDonald out there waiting to be read . . .
Seriously stoked to find someone else who likes him . . .

Check out this Smooth Operator - teehee :)
Just stopping by to say hello! Hope you are having a happy Friday!
Your Flickr is awfully distracting :)
And I know something you don't know - mwahahaha. More to follow soon :)
What?! Wait - no! It's my turn to you! DO NOT LET ME COME OVER THERE! Boo!
So if I pop out a fainting pygmy you'll say no? Pfff - the doubt is strong with this one ;p
Fine, I shall have to send you the fainting ones and bin these pygmy fainting ones. So much for womb-made wonders...
So at this rate it's safe to assume that you own Inka and that Martha is under your evil control?
Why the f else would you need bandaned pygmy goats this close to Xmas? You're obviously planning something sinister sister.
Teehee - sinister sister :)
It was the little cartoony goat wasn't it?! I was aiming for that one, but as you can see - not workable :)
So am I to assume I have to pop 'em out cute now as well?
Gees...
haha, if Cheesus can make it rain a thousand goudas, I'll pray to him too!
Thank you SO MUCH for the generous 'Botiversary RAK pack! I love it all, and I'll get good use out of all of it. :)
You rock!
