Hello! My name is Mary and I'm originally from California but moved in July 2016 to New Zealand with my husband and our pets. It was quite a change but we really love our house and property location, being only 10 minutes away from the beach, it is very relaxing!

I love learning about other cultures and customs around the world, so I would be happy to receive postcards from your home country (or state). In addition to places you have travelled and what you have learned about along the way :-)

We own 5 cats, 1 dog (border collie), 5 sheep and 2 alpacas. I also own and run a pet boarding facility, and founded a local non profit cat rescue. So I'm an animal lover for sure, would love any animal related postcards and any stories about your own pets.

I also have a keen interest in helping others and working in the health care field (having done a first responder course).
