I am Angela. I am a mom of two daughters. I have been married for 30 years to my hubby who is retired from the Air Force. I am a florist, teacher, and have a couple of Horticulture degrees that I use from time to time:) I enjoy gardening and have been developing a small fairy garden with my daughter. I like whimsical. I am artistic, imaginative, and enjoy trying new mediums to work with. I will usually try anything once or twice to see if it is my thing. I enjoy barn sales and perusing antique shops. I enjoy hand made pottery and also collect fiesta ware dishes. I love drinking coffee in a different colored mug each morning before work...it sets my mood.

I LOVE the fall. I love when the hot sticky days of summer turn into crisp days still filled with sunshine.

I enjoy fishing with my hubby and dream to learn fly-fishing. I like the fight:) I want to start snow-shoeing and taking nice long day hikes, possibly weekend hikes. We also like playing cribbage and other games. My family is a table top game family.

I enjoy taking pictures of my pets, kids, trips, anything really. I am trying to become a better photographer, just for personal use, not professionally.

My oldest daughter lives on the Oregon Coast and I LOVE to walk the beach with my kids looking for treasures...agates, jasper, and other stones. I enjoy stones :)

The Eagles, Aerosmith, Peter Frampton, Eminim, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Buble, Coldplay, some country, lots of classic rock, easy listening, some classical, George Winston, Broadway musical soundtracks, piano, cello, harp. I love when a modern song has an awesome string section in it...like November Rain. The list goes on...I have a pretty eclectic taste.

Pride and Prejudice, Outlander Series, Hunger Games, Little Women, The Old Man and the Sea, lots of art/craft books, I am a magazine girl...I like them. I'm not an avid reader...I usually have a hard time being still long enough to sit and read but I am working on it:)

Outlander, This is Us, American Housewife, Last Man Standing, Downton Abbey, Big Bang Theory, New Girl, CBS Sunday Morning, History Channel, Discovery Channel, The Middle, Psych, The Voice, Sing Off, Vikings, The History Channel, Discovery Channel, Finding Your Roots. Who Do You Think You Are, Goldbergs, Bobs Burgers(love watching it with my kids), Victoria, really any historical fiction shows...The Crown, Reign, etc.

My most recent interest is hand lettering. I have been trying to practice a bit each day and have attended a few workshops. It is something I have always wanted to learn. I also enjoy sewing..mug rugs, little needle cases, quilted pot holders. I am slowly teaching myself how to quilt. Yes, she likes and wears them! I like altered playing cards and have wanted to begin a collection for some time now. Painting, drawing or collaging ATCs, postcards or 'odd sizes'. I need to make more time to do them!! I enjoy making little personal shrines, collage, and mixed media. Sometimes I knit, but am a novice and have to really "feel" like doing it. I also do some basic quilting. I enjoy making stuffies at times, I go through phases; but I really love them. I like to try new things/techniques. Encaustics...I am teaching myself the technique, trial and error. I have fun making natural/handmade beauty products( I love and use essential oils), watercolors, pastels, inks...are mediums I enjoy. I am like a kid in a candy shop in an art store! Needle felting and embroidery always faves!

I am not girly girl. I don't like sequins on clothes, or animal prints. That glam stuff isn't me. BUT...I like getting my nails did;p. I do not like the little knick knacks that you find in a dollar store. I really would rather you not send those. I really don't like things that are plastic looking...or really cheap looking. Pins/buttons, don't really use them. I am pretty plain when it comes to jewelry, pins, earrings, etc. I find something I love and I wear it out or lose it:( I am not a big fan of fruity teas.

I love vintage...Christmas, Halloween (not gory), Valentines, fabric, ribbons, notions, pictures, stamps, postcards...old is good. I need and use vintage habadashary!!! I love to try new techniques at least once so swaps are a good way to not get too invested in something but get to try a new product, project, or technique. I am just learning to love washi tape and want to start a little collection to use on postcards, letters and the like. I like amber, the stone...it's my favorite. I use DoTerra essential oils and am a sucker for lavender.
