About Me

I have four kitties (Four, Seymour, Mikey and Yinnie)who I love like children. I raised them all since they were kittens!

I'm a sociology major, so I love people watching. One of my favorite things is going to garage sales. For me, this combines people watching (obviously, you can tell a lot about a person from their garage sale) and my uttermost love of bargains.

My other hobby is traveling. I've been to Iceland, Bahamas, Thailand, Japan, Belguim, France, Holland, and about half of the states so far.

Collections

Found photos and letters, stickers, kawaii, zines, anything handmade, food characters, anything related to Russian nesting dolls, back issues of Vice magazine, food scented items, local products, etsy- type things, homemade cat toys, international film, documentaries, vintage, thrift, view master slides, foreign coins, international candy (esp milk chocolate or caramel), Asian fashion magazines like Cutie, Fruits, or Smart and anything that is strange, bizarre, or unusual!

What I would like to receive:

** anything for my collections

** Kinder chocolate

** some kawaii (personified food is my fav.!)or Pee Wee Herman address labels

I'm Not Really Into

Flower scented things, Disney, Looney Toons, coconut, religous themed items, dark chocolate, tea, mint, licorce, coffee, and frilly or girly things.

About the post office...

Boston man receives postcard from 1929

The message on the postcard to a "Miss Margaret McDonald" was short. Its path to the intended address was much longer. Nearly 79 years after it was sent, a postcard of Yellowstone National Park's Tower Falls arrived in a Boston mailbox recently with the one-word message, "Greetings."

Its intended recipient had long since left the Victorian on Sparhawk Street, and the sender was not identified by name.

Michael Cioffi was shocked to find the card dated June 1929 in his mail. He says the McDonald family did own his house for generations, but he doesn't think there is anyone left in the family to pass the postcard to.

A U.S. Postal Service spokesman says it's impossible to know what happened with the card. It somehow got into the mail and was sent with a one cent stamp from Seattle earlier this year.

So, if for some reason you don't receive something from me just let me know. I always send my swaps! :)

EmJayBe on Jul 29, 2008:

Hi there,

Thanks for joining my swap! I got lots of feedback on moving it later into the Fall so the chocolate won't melt, so I decided to change the swap date to mid-September. Hopefully you can still do it!

Thanks again! EmJayBe
