Hi! My name is Katie. I'm an artist first, with my BFA in Fine Arts, and I'm currently studying for my masters degree in elementary education. I love all kinds of art, especially painting and fiber arts! I joined this site to swap ATCs, which I've recently begun making, but I may venture into other territory. My favorite color is purple.

I love pretty much everything. I tend to go through different phases with my art. I can't ever just choose one thing! My two favorite activities are painting and felting. In the past I've also sewn (I'm currently working on a t-shirt quilt which I hope to turn into a crazy quilt), knitted, dyed and spun yarn, painted furniture, collaged, decoupaged, made jewelry, made paper and plenty of other things I can't think of right now. I don't scrapbook, but I do use scrapbook supplies because they're yummy. :3

Stickers are always appreciated since I'm going to be an elementary school teacher and I also collect them. I love scrapbook paper, handmade paper, paints, fabric, paintsticks, stamps, ribbon, wool, yarn, ink pads, glitter, buttons, vintage bits n' pieces (buttons, ephemera, photos, etc), lace, embellishments, washi tape, decorative brads... The list goes on!

Tea (not herbal), flea markets, summer rain, the woods, sunny days, rainbows, making art, seeing other people's art, Futurama, Harry Potter

I'd like to avoid getting anything overtly religious (spiritual/peaceful is ok) and I don't like things scented like any kind of food (stickers don't count). I don't really like herbal tea either. :P
