Hello! my name is Lori; I am an artist and jewelry designer living in Blue Ridge, GA. I share my studio space with my wonderful husband Chuck and our cats "Buddy" and "Ghost". I love to travel and enjoy sleeping under the stars whenever we can get away to camp. I also enjoy working on my flower garden and home improvement projects. I recently retired from the corporate world and look forward to growing my Jewelry Business.
NOTE: I live in the mountains. Getting to the post office during the winter months can sometimes be a challenge due to the icey winding roads. I will always send my swaps on time if at all possible, but occasionally weather may slow me down. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
I enjoy many crafts, repurposing old furniture, and creating interesting objects from flea market finds. I make jewelry using lampwork beads, metal clay, semi precious stones and pearls. I sell my crafts at outdoor festivals, barn sales, and on Etsy. I'm really open to trying any and all crafts; I really love making Artist Trading Cards too.
08/25/17 - Just completed a metal clay jewelry class at the John C. Campbell Folk Art School, the instructor was Pam East.
08/01/17 - currently working on a sea glass and sea shell project, it will be a large hanging sun catcher. Gathering Supplies.
Currently I'm enjoying Yacht Rock. I also love 70's and 80's music and smooth Jazz.
A favorite tune is: September by Earth Wind and Fire.
First dance at our wedding: Someone Like You by Van Morrison.
Anything! I'm an avid reader and usually have two books going at any given time....I belong to a fun monthly book club.
Just finished: Where'd You Go, Bernadette?; Killers of the Flower Moon; 1000 White Women; The Orphan Train; A Man Called Ove, Defending Jacob; The Rosie Project; The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry;
I watch a lot of HGTV and the Food Network. I also watch some reality TV - Project Runway; Ink Master, Top Chef, and Bachelor/Bachelorette (it's my guilty pleasure). I'm also a BIG fan of Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey.

Hi Lori! I wanted to follow up to your note on the Mardi Gras Kitty (I should have responded to your comment a long time ago). I am so happy that you like her! It took a lot of sitting and thinking and looking around my craft-shak to determine what I was going to do. But once I got started, that was it! It was hard to let her go, but I don't collect ATCs, so I am sure glad that she went to you, someone who will truly appreciate her! I hope to see you in future swaps!!!!!
Profile check for Holiday Recycled ATC. Welcome to the swap! Hope you have fun creating this one :-)
Thank you for the gorgeous
