Hi, my name is Anne and I live in the Netherlands. I live in a town called Zeist, although it officially never became a town, so I guess it is a big village. I am 32 years old (1988).

After some different studies and professions, I ended up being an English teacher. I love the profession, working with the kids, but I also like the developing materials-side of the profession. I regularly give workshops to other teachers and student-teachers. I am quite proud to do that and to have my normal teaching job with my kids!

I live with my partner of 8 years (2011) and we are finishing up the house that we recently bought. I hope our future holds a family! (And a cat ;-) )

Books; my absolute favourite writer is Stephen King. I have always been a bookworm and I fell in love with the books of Stephen King as a kid. He had this way of taking you down a path which is wonderful, mysterious and logical untill you put the book down. Than suddenly you realise how bizarre the story is, but all you want, is to get back to the story . My favourite series of Stephen King is The Dark Tower. I'll not go into that one, because the you'll be reading for a while! Other books (and I guess themes) I love are Alice in Wonderland, Ender's game, Roald Dahl's books, the Potter books, E.B. White's books and The Long Earth series by Terry Pratchett.

I also love music and some series and movies, but I'm not sure if writing about that will help you on this site.

I love to make cards and snailmail. For the cards I like to paint or craft with other materials. I also journal, more functional than creative.

I hope to be able to add more preferences in the future, but since I am just getting started here, I can't give you much preferences yet.
