I've always loved the mail- it's the first thing I check when I get home from work and I miss it on Sundays.

I'm a married mother of two daughters (8 and 10), I teach high school art and live in southern California, "The OC."

Things I LOVE:

Anything from a stationary or office supply store (I love Back to School time for all the new stuff) fun paper folders stickers Post-Its rubber stamps (used are fine) any kind of tape envelopes (of any size) clips of any kind and unique pens unique small boxes, bags, containers Postage stamps (used or new) Things to make my planner pretty Anything to do with Art, especially Art History Who doesn't LOVE Washi Tape

I LOVE anything miniature!

I have a big interest in anything UK themed/related (in my next life I will be English).

My favorite colors are actually not colors- black and white, but I like the occasional splash. Pink especially.

I LOVE CANDY! I love everything but black licorice.

Things that have a history are interesting to me. Items that either ARE old/used or images of things that are old (typewriters, rotary phones, keys, anything to do with writing and mail, etc.) Used things have character!

I run, walk and hike for exercise (but mostly so I can eat how I want and look decent for my age) and I very much appreciate someone with good wit and sense of humor, it's hard to offend me! I enjoy wine and coffee, but not a big tea fan. I'm very creative, organized and I love getting and sending fun, mail with more than just a stamp.

I'm happy to shell out the extra postage for international swaps!

I love 80's alternative, but can't live without U2 or Coldplay. Foster the People are my current favorite band.

Most of the time in the car on my way home from work I listen to Pod Casts. My favorites are TED Radio, This American Life, How to do Everything, For Crying Out Loud and The Moth.

Survivor, Breaking Bad, True Blood, Homeland, House of Cards, Derek, The Middle, Modern Family, Girls, Project Runway.

Have not and will not watch Real Housewives or most other 'reality' shows that don't involve creativity of some sort.

LOVE: Candy (anything with sugar as its first ingredient-hard, soft, chewy, etc.), Chocolate (in any type/form), Anything Fruity or Fruit Flavored, Salty, Crunchy, Nutty, Spicy, Mustard, Teriyaki, Black Pepper, Corn/Corn based crunchies, anything covered in toffee, or toffee itself, Spitz Brand Sunflower seeds... Any flavor, but especially Cracked Pepper and Dill Pickle

HATE: Anise, Black Licorice, spice flavored candy,Seafood (in any way, shape, type, flavor or form), Mayonnaise

INDIFFERENT: Organic, All-Natural, Vegan/Vegetarian, Gluten, Dairy, Nuts (I have NO allergies or dietary restrictions). As long as you avoid my HATES, I'll love whatever I am lucky to get from someone).

I don't have an interest in Smashbook, ATC or scrapbooking stuff (loose cut-outs and such).

I appreciate the hard work you all do on hand made crafts and other items, but I prefer store bought things.

I do not like Disney or anything cutesy, cartooney or anything to do with stuffed animals.

"Blingy" or Bedazzled stuff is not my style.

Don't like puffy paint, or anything with puffy paint on it.

I'm not really into animals. I respect them and would never, ever purposely harm any living creature, but I don't like anything related to animals. I'm more of an inanimate object type of gal. (I have an adopted rescue dog and cat which I love and spoil but, in general, I don't like animal "stuff."
