Dellie

Hi my name is Dellie and I am a craft -aholic. I am a married, stay at home mom with 3 boys ages 21, 19 and 7 years old. I have two cats named Teaspoon and Tokolos which I just love adore and spoil rottenly and a small dog which belongs to the middle son that I have to feed and cuddle. I love to create things and is always busy trying to figure out how I can make things differntly or adapt them to my crafts. I enjoy the challenge and can get very determined when told it cant be done.

I can't really say which is my favourite craft as I love doing them all. I always have more than one kind of project on the go to keep me from getting bored. I do embroidering(ribbon, stumpwork and brazilian), cross stitch, knitting with beads, making beaded ornaments and jewelery, tatting, crochet, any kind papercrafts, parchment, making teddybears, little bit of sewing and I love xmas crafts too.

Except for heavy metal and rapp music I will listen to any kind and especially enjoy the sing a long ones. I like my music loud so my music system gets special care. I also love the nature sound cds

I love the historical romance books best, enjoy any other romantic love story too, when I read I dont like to think so documentary books,and life sagas and all this general knowledge stuff is not for me, I'll rent the movie then I can get the info and do my craft.

I love, once again the historiacal movies specially the ones in colour so I can drool over those wonderful costumes.I am not too much of a comedy fan but enjoy the animated movies. I am not much of a movie person and seldom will sit down and watch.

I have a few programes that I like, I hate real life shows, they are just not my cuppa tea. I like the CSI kind of stuff and my old time favourite will always be Quincy. My other hero that I just love and adore and my youngest was named after him is Jarod from The Pretender (MIchael T weiss). I enjoy a good murder mystery and Agatha Christy's Parroit is also high on my list.

There is only a couple of things I dont like, wool, african goodies, lilies(flowers)

My favourite colors are green and purple.
I love DMC threads normal and metalic, border and corner stickers, pretty shiny papers, card/scrapbook embelishments any cat goodies. I also love fairies and SHOES (craft related)

I live in Australia, and because of our strict customs laws, we are not to recieve any teas,seeds, dried flowers(even when in handmade paper) or food goodies in the mail.

I LOVE carnations, not red, and orchids, I love old building postcards.
