I'm Chiara, and I live in a small town on the south coast of Italy (near Naples). My life-long ambition is to travel the world! I'd love to be an author...or a millionaire!! But I'm actually an Architecture graduate. When I was just a little girl I wanted to become a film director! Dreams...dreams...dreams... The most important thing to me is to stay true to myself!

My soul is quiet artsy: in fact I love reading, writing, drawing, listening to music and so on, but perhaps I have no talent...or I'm just idle!

I like also eating, watching (a lot of things: tv, trains, people, paintings), getting mail, singing loud in my car, wandering the lanes, drinking tea and sleeping.

I am in love with the magic of nature, old dusty books, lore, forests, mountains, elvens, hobbits, ents and the work of Tolkien. I have also a special love for languages.

I travel a lot. Places I’ve been to: England (London, Oxford, Cambridge, Winchester, Dover, Bath, Brighton, Stratford-upon-Avon, Brighton, Bourton-on-the-Water), Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Berwick, Stirling, Highlands, Bamburgh, Alnwick Castle, Etal, Fort Augustus, Glen Coe, Loch Ness), Ireland (Dublin, Howth, Glendalough), France (Paris), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona), Hungary (Budapest, Szentendre), Belgium (Brussels, Bruges). Places I’m dying to visit: Norway, Iceland, Cornwall, Los Angeles, New Zealand.

Things I don't like: closed-minded people, people that hate Harry Potter but have never read the book, religious fanatics, people that ruin the environment, animal cruelty/people that hate animals or exploit them, people who don't care about their children, racism, homophobia.

Pets: Two dogs, Magò and Wendy and a cat, Ariel, my love.

Religion: I don't believe in organized religions. I tend to celebrate all religions if that makes sense.

Little known facts: Teddy bears make me very sad; my favourite colour is green, but my favourite color to wear is red; Easter makes me sad as well; I used to play violin; I have a thing for birthdays; also for piers; I cut my hair by myself; I always put on my left shoe first; I'm addicted to food; I have a store cupboard full of teas; my favourite paintings are The House of Parliament series by Monet; I love braiding my hair; I wish I lived in a Jane Austen novel; I love themed parties; I'd eat potatoes everyday.

Wishes: there really was Middle-earth; to be a writer and travel the world.

I'm kind of a bookworm. I like cinema too: my favourite movies are Back to the future, The goonies, The pianist, Moulin Rouge, Trainspotting, Titanic, Star Wars, Peter Pan, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Carribean, Pride and Prejudice, The Princess Bride, A knight's tale, Mulan, Spider-Man, Brave, and many, many others...

I'm addicted to TV shows. Some of my favourite are Gilmore Girls,Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Supernatural, Merlin, Community, Lost, The 100, Heroes, Veronica Mars, Friends, Modern Family, Vikings, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Misfits, Masterchef, ...

I love music, some of my favourite bands are: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bastille, Travis, Florence + The Machine, Led Zeppelin, Within Temptation, Blind Guardian, Coldplay, ...

I prefer black tea over green tea, but I like any kind of tea, especially the flavoured ones. I love Stash teas, because there are some flavours we don't have here. Also I got Yogi Tahitian Vanilla Hazelnut Tea for a swap, and I'd love more! I'd really like Celestial Seasonings, and Adagio teas too.

I always send my swaps before the deadline, but Italian postal service is awful, so you probably won't get my swap before a month sometimes! Anyway if you don't get it please contact me and I'll gladly resend. =)
